Also, let's pretend that Eddie survives this even though we don't know what his fate is yet.
After the events of the murders and everyone blaming Eddie for them even though all of our friends knew that he would never do such a thing. After we all escaped the hell that is the upside-down. Eddie finally asked me to be his and I gladly said yes.
~~Time skip six months later~~
After we both finally graduated from Hawkins, Eddie and I left town and started our lives, we got a studio apartment, may be small but it's something that we can call home. I worked in the mornings and late afternoons at a coffee shop, and Eddie worked at a grocery shop in the mornings also but he doesn't get home later in the night. Once I got home from work around fourish I knew Eddie would be getting home in about half n hour so I started making dinner to be ready for when Eddie gets home.
I went into the kitchen to start making the beef stroganoff we planned for dinner tonight, as I was finishing setting the table I feel a pair of arms snake around my waist picking me up and spinning me around showing me his new haircut, my jaw dropped "Eddie your hair I love it" I say as I run my fingers through his hair, "What made you cut your hair you've been growing it out for years?"
Eddie pulls me in for a hug "Thank you for being there for me through all this crap, I didn't wanna tell you this but I've been having nightmares almost every night since the incident I...I just felt like I needed a change" He says with a trembling lip
"Eddie you know that I'm going to love you long hair or not, we're in this together, now let's go eat dinner" I reply giving him a peck on his lip we both smile before heading to enjoy dinner. After we finished dinner we got cozy in our bed Eddie laying on my chest. This was the first time in a while that Eddie got a good night's sleep.
