As they headed to Mr. Tumnus' house, Rosie and Lucy led them to the lamppost with Lucy telling them about hers and Rosie's first visit. While explaining, Peter reached out and touched the lamppost. They continued on their way as Peter and Susan admired the scenery, listening to Lucy as she continued explaining. Rosie was remembering what Mr. Tumnus said about some of the trees being with the white witch, so she used her powers, sharing a look with Lucy, if they were going a safe path.
They all glanced around the snowy forest with small smiles, besides Edmund who held a neutral expression. As they walked down a hill, Peter rushed past them and rolled down laughing. Susan joined in on the fun, laying down on the snow, making a snow angel as her siblings watched.
"When we get there, we'll have lots and lots of lovely foods." Lucy smiled back at her siblings before looking forward. "And we'll have lots and lots of--" Lucy stopped when she felt Rosie tug at her hand. Once Lucy turned to her younger sister, she noticed how she was looking ahead. Lucy glanced to where Rosie was looking at and saw Mr. Tumnus door was wide open and off its hinges.
"Lu? Rose?" Peter asked worried, noticing his sister's mood change. Lucy gasped while Rosie ran to the house with Lucy right behind her. "Lucy! Rosie!" Peter yelled out their names running after them, Susan and Edmund following.
The siblings were inside the house as Rosie and Lucy grew nervous, not knowing what happened to their friend. Everything was destroyed on the ground, the books off their shelves, some tables flipped over, and broken glass shades and dishes all over the ground.
"Who would do something like this?" Lucy murmured quietly, looking down at the picture frame which was of Mr. Tumnus' father. She shared a look with Rosie before looking back at the messy house. Peter noticed a piece of parchment, walking over to it and ripped it out before started reading it out loud.
"The faun Tumnus is hereby charged with high treason against her imperial majesty, Jadis, Queen of Narnia, for comforting her enemies and fraternizing with humans. Signed, Maugrim, Captain of the secret police. Long live The Queen."
Rosie was shocked at the information, shivering slightly at the mention of the 'Queen'. She was now extremely worried about what could happen to her friend. All of a sudden, her head started to hurt before glancing down, noticing a bit of light from her arm as she curiously lifted her sleeve to see her tattoo shine. Her mind was then filled with flashes of a wolf, which she guessed was the alpha and the captain of the secret police as he and his pack ruined Mr. Tumnus' house.
"But what about Mr. Tumnus?" Lucy asked, snapping Rosie back.
"He was arrested with being with humans. I don't think there's much we can do." Susan replied looking at her sisters.
