ALLEGRA'S BODY slammed against the wall roughly, her eyes squeezed shut in response to the abrupt force sending a rush of pain to her already battered and bruised body.

She sucked air in through her teeth and tried to concentrate on anything else except the searing pain making her wish that she was anywhere else but in the situation.

"You're a hypocrite!" Yelled Bella Swan knocking things off of the teenage girls shelf in the midst of her tantrum.

Allegra sobbed loudly keeping her eyes shut as tears fell, "you hate vampires but you hang around the pack like they're lap dogs! Do you know what they hunt? What they kill!"

Bella's voice was like a pounding on her brain constantly knocking and never stopping, Allegra squeezed her fists shut taking deep breaths to calm herself down.

"And don't think that we haven't noticed you've been sneaking in Embry, Edward always complains about the smell of a mutt-"

Allegra screamed and lurched forward shoving Bella away, a lot harder than she had intended as her older sister was suddenly on the side of the room slumped against the wall.

"Don't talk about him like that," she warned.

"He's a dog, does he wear a leash when you walk him?" Bella spits moving from the spot and rolling back her shoulder easing the tension that formed in her shoulders after the sudden force.

Allegra stormed over to her sister grasping her wounded wrist and raising it angrily, "this happened because you led on a 16 year boy - he's one of those dogs, do you hate him too?"

Bella and Allegra stood face to face like one of those stereotypical Mexican standoffs, both wondering who was going to pull the trigger first and severe the last tie that made them sisters.

Finally, Bella stepped forward threading her fingers around the handmade bracelet hanging loosely on Allegra's small wrist and ripped it off effortlessly, the beads falling to the ground.

The younger of the two immediately dropped to the ground rushing to collect the fallen beads before they were lost to the carpet, sobs parting her lips as she worked.

Bella stood victoriously over the defeated girl, finally understanding the surge of superiority that she imagined the supernatural felt.

"How could you do this?" Allegra cried holding the remnants of the beloved bracelet.

"You don't deserve it," Bella whispered.

Allegra shakily wiped away her tears and slowly stood coming face to face with her older sister, she reached out taking Bella's wrist into her hand.

With a void expression on her face she dropped the bracelet into the palm of her sisters hand and forced it closed, "if you really want it back that badly - take it. You didn't need to destroy it."

Bella ripped it away, however, a sharp shard of one of the broken beads caught the skin around Allegra's wrist immediately drawing blood.

The teenage girl yelled sharply quickly bringing her free hand to cover the wound and hopefully slow some of the bleeding, Allegra expected a lot from her sister but this one was real.

Never had Bella had such an extreme reaction to one of Allegra's 'betrayals.'

"You hurt me," she whispered.

"Oh get over it, its just a scratch."

Allegra barged her shoulder into Bella's and flee'd her bedroom rushing to the singular bathroom that stood in the two story home.

She turned on the faucet and quickly stuck her wrist under the running wager letting it run over the fresh wound to prevent any future infections or worse, but as the blood washed away, something became clear.

Allegra glanced up at the reflection in the mirror in horror.

She wasn't hurt anymore and she had no idea what if meant.

And to make it worse, she didn't have a big sister to run too.

Allegra muffled her sobs with the palm of her hand as she crumbled to the ground accepting her fate as the stranger that only slept across the hall from Bella Swan.

Unbeknownst to the duo, a vampire stood outside the home with a sorrowed expression on their face.

They didn't mean to witness the fight and they definitely wouldn't forget it, Rosalie turned away from the home and walked back into the woods.

She no longer felt that she was protecting Allegra from outside forces, it was clear that the girls biggest foe slept across the hall and there was nothing Rosalie could do about it.
