HOURS HAD passed and there was still no sign of the teenage girl, day turned to night and worries for Allegra Swan's life increased.

Charlie Swan lead a search party, his heart beating erratically, a sense of deja vu nearly knocking him off his feet as they entered the woods.

Some held flashlights, lanterns and others cried her name.

The small town of forks was out in full force searching for a lost teenage girl, however, she wasn't any teenage girl. Allegra Swan was a treasured member of the community they vowed to find and protect.

The youngest daughter of their chief of Police, Charlie Swan.

Sam Uley and Embry had left a little earlier, they contemplated shifting but that most likely would cause more trouble with the people of forks than any good it could've possibly done.

Embry ran his fingers through his dishevelled hair, his chest was heavy and relying on oxygen was a thing of the past.

"She'll be fine, you need to stay calm." Ordered Sam.

"CALM?" Embry exclaimed turning to go chest to chest with his Alpha, "we don't know where that red-headed bitch is and Allegra is missing! And you're asking me to be calm? This is my fault, I couldn't control my temper and I scared her away."

Sam stayed silent, he listened intently as all of Embry's emotions begun spilling, the pain behind his words going acknowledged but not ignored.

The Alpha bought his hand down to rest on the teenage boys shoulder, he wasn't the best at comforting those of his pack when they were upset. He couldn't resonate with the emotions that Embry was expressing, not to that degree anyway.

"We will find her, I promise."

Embry shrugged off his grasp and turned on a heel, breaking into a jog to cover more area in a shorter amount of time.

Meanwhile, Allegra Swan crawled through a thick layer of leaves looking for anything to hold onto, a cry left her lips as hands grabbed her ankles and tugged her back.

"Please!" She begged clawing at the ground, her nails scrapping up dirt and whatever other gunk laid built up on the floors.

"I didn't do anything, I didn't do anything!" Allegra repeated thrashing around, a large gash dug into the side of her body burning as she felt dirt rub into it.

A scream came next as an agonising pain suddenly rushed through her body, Allegra bucked her hips and arched her back doing anything to suppress the agony.
