A COLD wind drifted over the city of forks, not an unusual change in weather as snow was soon set to fall but still it felt a little colder than it should've. The little people that lived there quickly retreating indoors or dressing in their thickest winter coats and boots.

All except one, Allegra Swan.

The girl trembled, her lips turning blue as she stood in the middle of the woods only wearing a tank top and a flimsy pair of sweatpants - the same outfit she had fallen asleep in.

Her eyes scanned her surroundings at the trees that seemed to already have layers of snow slowly building up on the branches. Confusion spread like poison in her veins as she urged herself forward, following a track deeper into the woods.

If not for the crunch of the snow under weight and the goosebumps seemingly now permanently prominent on her skin she would've believed it was all a dream.

Allegra exhaled heavily casting smoke in front of her face, she rubbed at her arms furiously trying to produce some warmth back into her blood and circulating around her petite self.

"what the hell..." she finally spoke, the words were shaky barely rolling from her frozen tongue.

The snow on the path was slowly beginning to darken stained with a gut churning red substance, the teenage girl gulped back vile creeping up into her throat as dark thoughts began to warp around her mind holding it hostage to the negativity.

"Come on, Allegra!" A familiar face called. "The suns about to set."

Her eyes widened a fraction as she picked up her pace, "Embry!"

He laughed in response but it seemed to be getting further away, with a little pep in her step, she moves quicker ignoring the chill that should've had her frozen in place. Completely paralyzed.

"Where are you taking me?" Allegra pondered aloud wandering deeper into the woods, blindly following the sound of his retreating laugh. The sound like music to her frozen ears.

"It's our spot, remember?"

Allegra's eyebrows furrowed, "wait.."

Suddenly, it all stopped. She couldn't hear a thing, not her boyfriends laugh or the sound of the snow crunching under her slips and not even her own thoughts.

Allegra looked down at the ground and her jaw dropped in horror, a large puddle of blood soaked her slippers.

"O-oh my god!" She stuttered, her gut churning as the sickly red substance gave off a pungent odor.

Slowly, the girl dare raise her head and the sight before her confirmed all of her fears.

The lifeless eyes of her loved ones stared straight at her as blood poured from their wounds into the snow traveling straight for her. "Dad..." she cried spotting his prize mustache.
