EVERYONE COULD tell that that someone had changed, it happened with Bella Swan and now her younger sister Allegra was following in suit.
She waltzed around the halls with a grin on her face everytime her phone began to vibrate there wasn't a thing in the world that could stop her from checking it.
Not even her strict chemistry teacher.
The teenage girl stood at her locker giggling at yet another text on the floor, some watched as someone stalked over to the unexpectant girl.
Their hand grasped the locked door pulling it outwards pulling a startled gasp from her lips, she glances over but all of the fright quickly goes away as she realises the boy standing before her.
Embry stands aside, a grin on his face.
However, another presence is sensed and in the form of Mike leaning against the locker in a failed protective like stance against the other teenage boy.
"Who are you?" He questions resting a hand on Allegra's shoulder, it wipes the smiles immediately from her face.
Embry slipped his clenched fist into the pocket of his shorts and mustered up his best fake smile, "I'm Embry, you must be?"
"I'm Mike." The name was like a dagger piercing him the heart, laughter almost begun pouring from the werewolf in front of him. If he wasn't in the middle of a high school, he'd phase and rip the blonde's head off.
Embry leaned forward grasping Mike's wrist tightly in his own mimicking a handshake, any watching weren't suspicious yet.
Embry's usually loud voice dropped to a harsh whisper and the smile dropped too, he began to squeeze Mikes hand with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"You're the mouthbreather that forced yourself onto Al, bad move." He whispered breathlessly.
Allegra quickly reached up grasping Embry's hand squeezing it once in a reassuing notion, he released the blonde and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"Let's go." He spoke.
Allegra felt guilt bubble in the pit of her stomach as she listened to the pained exhales that slipped past his lips, as Embry lead her away she couldn't help but thank him mentally.
Hopefully Mike would be scared away for now.
She and Embry walked side by side towards the exit of the school, her body pulled taut against his as if he was scared she would ripped away.
"I had no idea you were coming today," the girl whispered her cheeks reddening as the stares began to embarrass her.
"Sam misses you," Embry starts before begrudgingly adding. "So does Paul and Jared... a little bit of Seth too."
