Chapter 9: Think

after the party Perci and Blaze brought everyone back to her Kingdom to rest. It was now the evening of the next day. Blaze had given everyone the morning to walk her kingdom as they did their first visit.
Perci himself had to go back to his kingdom to take care of his own royal duties, so Blaze had to talk to her friends alone which wasn't a problem for her.

Blaze currently sat in her office chair deep in thought. Her stresses where on her missing Emerald.

"Blaze.."

Blaze stopped her thought from a low voice at her doorway. She turned around to see

"Knuckles, come in. How are you enjoying my Dimension?"

"It's alright, typically warmer here." He shrugged.

Blaze nodded with a smile. "Indeed. I noticed that when I stayed in your Dimension as well."

Knuckles walked in her office and glanced around.
"I know you didn't invite ME here just for a ball."

"Of course not." Blaze let out a giggle. "I knew you wouldn't forget."

"Duh, we shook on it. Soo how bad is it?" Knuckles folded his arms.

"Before I continue..should I invite Shadow in as well? He falls under the same category as we, right?"
Blaze thought for a moment. "Sonic as well.."

"At that point I could get everyone. Cool with you?" Knuckles turns back around toward the door.

"Go ahead." Blaze nodded.

Knuckles paused at the door for a moment.
"Before I go get him just know that he seems more off to me. You catch my drift?" He looked back to her.

"Yes, I understand." Blaze looked down at the floor.

"I'm not the gossipy type , but Rouge makes it seems like the GUN program changed him..." knuckles slowly walked away to get the others.

"I...see." she set a hand on her face. Attempting to remember some information about GUN. Perhaps she should have done some research.

Everyone made themselves comfortable in Blaze's office. She definitely had room for company.

"Um hello everyone. I hope you all enjoyed yourself so far here in my Dimension,because I have slightly more pressing matters to attend on.."

Before Blaze could continue the door opened revealing Marine.

"Sorry I'm late!" She poked her head in. "Is that TAILS!??" She yelled loudly.

"Marine!?" Tails gasp in surprise.

"My bestie! how ya been!? Marine quickly moves toward the two tailed fox.

As the two embrace Blaze clears her throat as she smiled at the two.

"Oh sorry, Princess!!" Marine quickly sat beside tails and Sonic on a couch. they both shared faces of embarrassment.

"As I was saying... No offense to Tails and Knuckles, but I wanted all hands on deck for this situation. Tails, obviously for his gifted intelligence.
Knuckles, as he is bound to protect the Master Emerald." Blaze gestures to the two characters.

"Straight to the point I suppose.." Blaze walked to her counter and put his her code to unlock the safe.
As it opened. Blaze sighed.
"As you can see one of the Sol Emeralds are missing..obviously I'll come up with a new place for these.."
