Prolouge to Next Chapter

It's been almost a year since Beerus and Whis first came to Earth. Beerus acted like he didn't like anyone, but since the incident with Gine he valued her strength and became good friend with her. Whis like her as well, to him she was a sister even though he already had brothers and sisters. He could talk to his blood siblings about anything, but he liked to talk about things with Gine. He almost viewed her as a lover until he realized that he was too old for him, and her mom wouldn't approve it. And since Gine would talk to him, he knew that she was in love with Trunks. 

But Gine was always sad when she would visit Capsule Corp to see him. In the future, Gine was born and future Gine and future Trunks where friends but nothing more. There could have been a connection, but future Gine died against the androids do to the fact that she tried to go against them without being a Super Saiyan, a form she couldn't reach. So future Trunks fell for Mai instead. Present Trunks and Mai figured that they might fall for each other soon, so they started going out and now think they are in love.

Goku and Chi-Chi did not know this much about Gine, she only told her secrets to Whis. Whis wanted to find some way to make Gine happy, but nothing worked. Gine would put a cheery face on when she saw Trunks and Mai, but deep down she was crying. Whis knew that 16 was the age that he could train Gine, this is what Chi-Chi agreed. The only people who knew about this agreement, where Whis, Beerus, Chi-Chi, Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan. Gine's birthday was in two days, and this birthday was going to be like no other.
