Dragon Ball Fanfiction: Gine Daughter of Goku

Chapter 28: Big Surprise

Time skip four weeks.

It was Trunks' birthday today and he was supposed to go to Capsule Corp for is birthday party that Bulma was throwing him, but Gine had been acting weird latley and had been throwing up too, so he wanted to stay home with her.

"No, you should go Trunks. Bulma worked so hard to set it up for yo-" She was cutoff by vomit coming up her throat. She ran to the bathroom to throw up and Trunks ran in behind her holding her hair out of her face.

"This is why I don't wanna go. You say you're fine and then you throw up."

"Trunks, just go. I'll be fi-" She threw up again and Trunks sighed knowing that if he didn't go she'd go and take him with her.

"Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself?"

"Of course. I promise." She smiled at him and he hugged her. He grabbed a towel, ran water on it and wiped her mouth off. After that he laid it on the sink and helped her up. She went into the living room and he got ready for the day. When he finished he walked into the living room to hug and kiss Gine goodbye.

"If you need me, call okay."

"I will. I'm not stupid." She giggled. He pulled away from her and left. When she heard his car drive off she ran upstair and grabbed a box out of one of her jackets and took something out of it. It was a pregnancy test. She went to the bathroom and took the test. She got dressed and put her hair up while she waited for the results. She hadn't got her period yet and she'd been sick for the past three weeks so she had wondered for a small bit. When she looked at the test it said positive. She was pregnant. She smiled and jumped around. She hadn't gotten Trunks a present yet and though this would be the best one she could give. She put the test away and went back downstairs to ger some food.

Time skip four hours

Gine was sitting on the couch watching Spongebob when she heard the front door open. She looked behind her and saw Trunks walk in with a few boxes and bags. She stood up and walked over to him and grabbed a few of them. They placed them on the coffee table in front of the couch, then sat down.

"See, I told you I'd be fine." Gine said in a happy and excited voice.

"Yes you did... You sound a bit happier than usual. What did you do?"

"Mmm... I got you a gift and I can't wait to show it to you."

"You know, you didn't have to get me anything short stuff."

"Well I did, so you can accept it." She stood up and walked upstairs. She grabbed the pregnancy test and walked back downstairs to Trunks. She held it behind he back and walked up beside him. "Okay, are you ready for your gift?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Okay, closed your eyes and hold out your hand." He did as she said and placed the test in his hand. "Open your eyes." He opened his eyes and looked in his hand. His eyes widened as he started looking in his hands then back at Gine.

"You're- We're gonna- I'm gonna be a dad?!" She smiled and nodded at him. He pulled her into a bear hug and kissed the top of her head. He held her as tight as he could, he was just so happy.

"Um, Trunks... I can't breathe." He let her go an apologized. After he pulled her into a kiss and sat her in his lap laying his head on her head. "Lavender, do you like your gift?"

"Of course I do. It's the best gift ever." They both smiled and watched T.V until Trunks got up to make dinner. When he finished they sat down and ate talking about a nursery and other baby related things. Then Trunks brought up the subject of when they were gonna tell people. Gine's eyes widened and she stoped eating her dinner.

"Hey, something wrong short stuff?"

"Mom."

"What?"

"Mom. How do we tell mom?"

"Good question. I know. On your birthday we'll tell everyone and if she's got a problem with it she can fuck off."

"Trunks!"

"What? It was a good idea."

"It is but we're not just gonna tell my mom fuck off."

"Fine. But she makes me want to tell her that sometimes."

"Trunks, you are not teaching this child manners."

"Yeah. At least I'll be good with homework." Gine giggled and kept eating. She thought about telling them. In two months she'll be 29, three months pregnant, and she'll have to tell her friends and family. At least part. Whis and Beerus had a problem with king Vegeta, Bardock, Raditz and the other Gine being her so they sent them to King Kai's planet and they can't come back. After dinner they went to bed and slept amazing.
