"Thanks Gine."
"I know it's not time for gifts, but here. This is for you." Gine said handing Bulma a folded piece of paper.
"What's this?" Bulma said unfolding the paper.
As she unfolded it, she found a detailed drawing of her, Vegeta, and Trunks with Vegeta holding Bulma, and Bulma holding Trunks while Vegeta has a hand placed on his head.
"Oh, this is beautiful. Since when can you draw like this Gine?"
"A while. I've been drawing since Majin Buu. But mom doesn't know yet."
"Why?"
"Because if she knew, she wouldn't let me pursue martial arts and make me work more an art to earn money when I'm older."
"But if you draw like this... don't you like your art?"
"It's a hobby I guess you could say. It's not what I want my whole life to be."
"Then tell Chi-Chi. Cause I'm showing her. Hey Chi-Chi! Come here please!"
"No auntie Bulma."
"What is it Bulma?"
"Look What Gine drew me."
"No, there's no way Gine drew that."
"She's always drawing mom." Goten said interjecting.
"I can't believe I never noticed." Chi-Chi said surprised at her daughters artistic flare.
Twenty Minutes and forty glasses of wine for Bulma later
"Look guys, Vegeta brought friends to the party!" Drunk off her ass Bulma said.
Gine's POV
I look at uncle Vegeta's friends. One looks like a kitty. I love kitties. I know, I'll go introduce myself.
"Hello."
"Well hello there." The tall blue man next to the cat said.
"Hi." the cat said.
"My name's Gine. Who are you two?" I ask politely.
The blue man says "My name is Whis." The cat man follows with "And I'm Lord Beerus." I reply "It's nice to meet you Whis and Beerus. I also have a couple of other questions for you."
Vegeta's POV
DAMN IT!! KAKAROT'S BRAT IS GOING TO PISS OF BEERUS!! What is she doing. I rush over to them before they can answer her.
"Hey Gine."
"Huh? What is it uncle Vegeta? I want to know your friends."
"Uncle Vegeta? I wasn't aware that Tarble had a daughter." I hear Lord Beerus say.
"Tarble? Tarble, Tarble, Tarble... Oh, that man a few years back. I'm not his daughter."
"But, you called him uncle Vegeta."
"Yeah. You see, my papa died when I was a year old. Just before my little brother was born. I would always hang out with Trunks and Vegeta after. Vegeta became my substitute papa before we brought him back to life. Honestly, uncle Vegeta doesn't like it when I call him that."
"Vegeta, you should be nice to her... wait, you say you brought your father back to life. How and who is he?"
"We used the Dragon Balls. And my papa? His name's Goku."
"You're that weakling's daughter?"
No. This is bad. Gine has a temper when it comes to her father. Or anyone she loves. If she finds out about how bad he hurt Kakarot. We are doomed. If not killed by Beerus, then her. I have to do something. But then I hear her say "My papa's not a weakling. He's the strongest man I know. And if he's not the strongest in the solar system or or the galaxy his love for his family is still stronger than anything and anyone!!!"
I quickly interrupt.
"Um would any one like this delicious sushi from this exquisite chef over here?"
I can see wee one calm down. Did I just call her wee one?! What's wrong with me?
"This is my favorite uncle Vegeta. (Om nom nom) You should try it guys."
Whis's POV
This young girl. She has a pure heart, but I felt her anger- no love for her father when my lord said that. And her energy, it's like nothing I've felt before. There's no way this girl is- no, I have to be wrong. She can't be the one.
"I will try one, it looks simply delicious." I say trying not to seem like I'm being rude to this young girl.
"Yummy! So Gine, you said you had questions." I start.
Back to Gine's POV
"Yea, I do."
"Well, what are they?" Beerus says.
"Well-" I start nervous.
"Yes" He says
Vegeta's thought process: Don't ask it. For the love of Dende don't ask it.
Back to the conversation:
"Are you a cat lord Beerus?"
Vegeta's thought process: She asked it. DAMN IT!!!!
Back to the conversation:
"What do you mean?" I hear him say angry.
"I apologize if I offended you. I didn't mean to."
