Ronald gave Anna a talk about boys and girls the rest of the evening. Running from telling her that it was his fault to not give her a good example to making her feel guilty about being too 'touchy' with him, Annabelle tried to explain him that she was only training, that they had a good fight and even that he was ready to make the test with him. Given that Ronald is the master in combat and the one who would give the final decision. But he didn't listen.

"But Ronald I've seen him he's—"

"No! Annabelle, don't even try to defend him. He's not being nice with you for free, don't you know he wants something from you?! I just want to protect you! But no! You're as stubborn as your mother and never bloody listen to me."

The watery eyes of the girl made him feel bad again, he tried to calm his nerves by massaging the bridge of his nose, but Anne's eyes were flooded still with pain, she tried to comfort herself by rubbing her arm like her father did, but it didn't work. She felt guilty and dirty for what she had done.

"Listen I'm sorry, I—" Her mentor tried to kneel to the ground and look at her in the eye, but she avoided it.

"No, you're right, I shouldn't have done that. I was... I was infatuated and impressed with the first boy I meet that's on my level and I— I was stupid. I'm the one who's supposed to be sorry." She finished, trying to clean hardly the tear on her left eye, but failed miserably. Finally breaking and crying while being held by her mentor.

"Cody concentrate, you can do it" Monica said in a soft voice, Cody tried to nod, but he had to ignite what he was going to do if he wanted to make it. According to what he had been told, the real game's on the mind, if he didn't distracted himself, he would make it.

The opposite if he let anything get his mind.

He closed his eyes and started walking. The thin rope made him shake at every step and his heels didn't stopped moving from left to right. The boy suffered a tachycardia every step, metaphorically of course, but even so he was afraid to open his eyes because they would punish him if he did. Ten steps later he was on the other side.

"I did it" He thought as he leisurely opened one eye, after one second of seeing himself on the platform he opened the other. He had fallen so many times he had red marks of the web on his back, but finally he had made it. "I did it! Monica I did it!" He cheered.

"You did it! I always knew you could do it!" Monica wasn't going to admit it, but she was growing found with the boy, she didn't wanted to hurt him at first, then he wanted to give him a good example and at the end she was happy with him. They were friends now.

"Annie did you saw that? I did it!" He celebrated once more, looking down where she was fighting with some sticks with another girl, younger than her.

"Oh what? Oh good! Good job Cody!"

She smiled and gave him a thumbs up, she meant her happiness, only hiding it a little under the fear of her superiors. Cody got down of the platform, looking for Monica, but she had left without warning.

"Cody! The Codstar! My Codycorn! Pal, come here" He heard Nick's voice, he a generic white shit among with blue jeans. But ignoring that, Cody wasn't used to so many smiles, coming from... Well, anyone.

He frowned confused by the weird nicknames, but shook his head and smiled walking towards him. "Yeah, what is it?"

"I wanted to tell you something..." His friendly smile never faded while he grabbed him by the neck. "I'll make it easy for ya. Stay away of Annie" He said, pointing at him with his index.
