"Oh! Annie?" She called, making her shut her eyes, reluctantly she turned around, making Cody laugh. "Do you have anything planned for tonight?" She asked.

"Um... No, I don't think so. Why?" She asked with a fake tone of unconsciousness.

"Oh cool, then I want to invite you to our Pre-Party." Megan stated, handing her the invitation.

"Your pre... What?" She asked for clarification, taking the envelope.

"It's a thing around here, we make pre-parties, paint our nails, make face masks, those kinds of things."

"Oh I— I don't think I—"

"Could be any more excited than what you are now!" Cody cut her, smiling widely. Megan frowned and looked back at her.

"What?"

"Yeah! You know how you said to me that you've never been in a pre... Whatever, before?"

"Well I haven't but I—" Before she could say anything else he put his arm over her shoulders, making Anna make a disgusted grin.

"Well this is amazing! Thanks Megan! She'll be there." He finished, waving goodbye. Megan just shrugged and walked away.

"Cody what was that?"

"Oh you know, just helping you complete your mission."

"Evan first of all I—"

"Oh Annie, dear, dear Annie. It's not only my task to be her friend, is it?" He asked, playing with her cheeks.

"Get your hands off of me" She groaned, crossing her arms and walking away.

Ronald picked her up, and took her to the hotel, where she had to get ready for the sleepover, or whatever it was, she was not sure if it was only a sleepover with a fancier name or if they were going to do something actually interesting, but she didn't care. She was compromised already no matter what she did or thought.

"Look at it from the bright side, you'll get to be a normal teenager for one night!" Ronald said, he was more than happy to let her go, she didn't understand why.

"And who wants that?" She asked sarcastic.

"Really— You're really going to ask me tha—"

"Bloody hell no! But someone with my intellect?" She replied, rolling her eyes.

Ronald rolled his eyes and laughed as he helped her pack some water, Anna looked at this, smiling unconsciously, she knew that he had been a father figure for her for years and she was proud of saying that, he is kind, protective and very happy, with her of course, but lately she had noticed that same behavior with Monica. Anna kept thinking, none of that had caught her attention too much, she really didn't want to go, except when she had just turned fifteen and was invited to another party her friend had, she felt a little curious, but after the day passed, so did the fever.

"Listen Annie, the only thing I ask you and the only condition is that you do not let this distract you." He said as he pulled the brakes and open the door.

"Sure, I'm pretty confident that I won't want to ever come back to school from this."

"That's not what I— Just... Have fun, do your job, you know... Be great, as always." He shook her hair, disheveling her, but also making her laugh.

"Okay, okay... See ya Ronny."

"See you tomorrow"

Anna got off the van and knocked on the door, as soon as it was opened for her, she heard the beginning of a blasting song surrounding her. Very pumped up, it was old, but nice, she personally liked it a lot, even so, it had been ruined a bit for her taste. "Hey Annie! I'm happy you're here, I was beginning to think that you weren't going to come." She kissed her both her cheeks.
