At the school she told everything, she had the stomach for, to Cody, he heard it all, paying as much attention as he could, when he heard about the fingerprints a cold feeling ran up his spine, he knew she was in danger, but not to the point of having to leave clues. They kept talking in between classes, until the day ended, Megan got there late as well as her friends, but was forgiven thanks to daddy's money and privilege, as Anna had assumed.

"So... Tell me, where do you see yourself in five years?" She asked, chin on her hand, flicking her eyelashes with a flirtatious smile.

"Oh I have no idea, honestly. I think I'll be just... Living my life, you know?"

"Well you should" She snorted.

"I know, but I... Let's just say that... I have a life-time compromise."

"Oh nice, with what?"

"That's a secret-"

"Oh so you're religious."

"Nope."

"Part of a cult-"

"Nah."

"Skinwalker?"

"I wish!"

Anna laughed, already getting enough from that conversation and telling him that she had to stay focused on her homework, he tried to distract her many times, but it didn't work. After some classes however she left to go with Cody, she had to tell him what she had figured and how they could use it, but she thanked heavens up above that he was talking with Megan, she was insinuating herself to him for sure, but he was standing there with bravery as a real man should. Not falling for the lack of clothes or the excessive laughter.

Cody saw from the corner of his eye how James was holding Anna on her place by creating some little chat, so he walked up to her and called saying that he needed her. "You messed it up!"

"What did I do now? I was just trying to help."

"Well don't, I needed to talk to him." She replied trying to catch him.

He quickly took her wrist and made her come back, and holding both her hands on the sides of her face. "Okay you're clearly not only about his looks, what are you up to? And what was that 'Angel' thing about? Huh?" He asked crossing his arms.

Anna sighted as she messaged the bridge of her nose, realizing how many times has she done that every since she met him. "Fine, listen. I... I believe he's up to something too, I'm not sure of what yet, but I know that the suddenly coming up to someone and being their friend it's definitely not normal."

"Well... Umm... Yeah, it is. In school it is."

"Oh yeah about tha— You know what? It doesn't matter. If you don't mind I would like the opinion of someone who actually has friends." She said walking away from him, he rolled his eyes, but couldn't say anything to that fair point. Anna said goodbye to James trying to fix what he had done, he said goodbye to the blonde girl and they both tried to leave.

Once the chattering was done, they went to the hotel of Anna, Monica was already there, getting the inform about last night from Ronald and put it into words, she saved them a lot of time by doing that. She did that with the only purpose to help, which surprised them all, but no one said anything about it.

"I never thought that I'd be here. Thinking 'bout this kind of things, but for some reason it just feels wrong." The boy thought, as he looked away with tears in his eyes. Together they could and have word-lessly promised to ignore it, but when they parted ways things seemed to be so palpable coming to them, it seemed impossible to think of anything but the deep sadness of departures.
