Everyone looks between me and Eddie confused "Princess?" Dustin questions with a gross look on his face
"Dusty not what you think he's just an annoying dude who calls me annoying nicknames" I speak with venom in my voice and look right at Eddie who puts a hand over his heart and pouts mouthing the word 'ouch'
Everyone moves to their places at the table but Eddie stops me before I can move to mine "annoying huh?" He whispers in my ear sending goosebumps down my arm I suck in my breath and before I can get a sarcastic comment out he's gone and I'm being pulled to my chair by Mike "come on y/n you're taking forever" he complains as I sit in the chair, I look up and meet eyes with Eddie my first instinct is to look away or flip him the bird but I don't I just look back into his chestnut brown eyes it feels like they're tugging at me begging me to not look away and I can't do anything but comply,
"earth to y/n" Dustin yells waving his hand in my face blocking my view of Eddie, I turn my head away to face Dustin "yeah yeah sorry what'd you say" - 'I hate him' I think 'I can't look at him like that or he'll think I don't, I do hate him right..? yeah I definitely hate him' - -After the game because my memory on D&D is rusty and I so don't want to write it-
Eddie won which wasn't surprising Eddie was always a master at D&D I never was able to beat him, I smile thinking about the time I was so close to winning but he made me lose in 2 seconds
"What you smiling about sweetheart" I feel hot breath on my neck and and goosebumps form on my arms he shouldn't have this affect I hate him "Nothing Eddie" he looks at me and gives me the Iknowyourelying look "it's none of your business Eds- Eddie" I slip up accidentally calling him his nickname, he just nods "sure sure I totally believe you" he chuckles "oh shut up" I nudge him with my elbow
"Y/n if you don't hurry up I'm gonna drive" Erica yells from down the hall, I give Eddie a two finger salute "never again am I allowing you to drive my car!" I shout as I run down the hall towards Erica
-Time skip to getting ready for the party-
I don't exactly know what to wear I've been staring at my closet for an hour and I've opened my drawers about 1,000 times and I have no clue what to wear I want to look nice but not overly nice and I certainly don't want to wear anything I hate, I open the drawer that holds my fishnets and place the fishnets on my bed I've been wanting to wear them but keep forgetting about them, I decide I'm just gonna go with my favorite band t-shirt and a short black skirt and some high tops
(obviously you can imagine something else I just needed to write some filler 😭🤚)
I pull up to Steve's house he had said him and Robin needed a ride and that it was only fair because J had forced them both to go and who would have known Steve would need to be forced to go to a party he used to drag me to these things
"Hey pretty girl" Robin says as she opens the passenger side door "hey rob" I say with a smirk as she sends me a glare "don't call me that it makes me sound like a creepy old guy" she yells but I'm just laughing at her "okay okay" I surrender putting my hands up
"How's trailer park livin'?" She asks while wiggling her eyebrows "better than living with my parents" I respond sending her a soft smile as Steve hops in the car, I wait for him to buckle up before speeding off
I moved away from home as soon as I turned 18, a trailer park was the only place I could afford, my parents offer me money but I don't want to rely on them anymore because trust me they've done enough.
-at the party-
As soon as I get out of the car I hear loud music playing through speaker and people talking all at the same time, with the light smell of alcohol and weed in the air.
"Alright I'm on drink duty but J have only two hands so one of you pretty ladies needs to help" Steve speaks up as we walk closer to the house "I will" Robin volunteers, she snakes her hand around my shoulders "you can wait outside find us a good seat" she talks just loud enough for me to hear before running off with Steve.
I open the gate that leads to the backyard only to be stopped "hey princess long time no see" the voice belongs to no one other than Eddie "Stop calling me that Munson" he turns me around so I'm facing him "I definitely will not stop calling you that" he states looking down at me with a huge smirk "look Eddie I don't like you so just go away" I go to turn around but gay stopped and Eddie puts his hand on one side of my head stopping me from trying again "really you don't like me?" He asks quietly but there's something about his voice he sounds almost sarcastic "yes I do not like you" I roll my eyes at him and look the other way, he uses his unoccupied hand to make me look at him "really because I think you do like me you just won't admit it" he whispers in my ear and I feel his hot breath trickle down my neck, my cheeks begin to burn and I'm not sure why "no Eddie you're just in denial" I state and slip under his arm and open the gate into the backyard
