Pursuing Life Is Hard Everytime

C48: Shapeshift..

"There is a very good place for it." Captain Fu said making the team curious and doubtful.

"Captain Fu, that place is?" one of them asked.

Suddenly, the corner of Captain Fu's mouth risen up a bit making him look like a handsome demon of a devil thoughts.

"....."

He Qian stared at the tightly locked steel box for extremely valuable granade weapons that was deliberately emptied for some other important purposes.

"Captain! Your idea is so brilliant! Inside the steel box even if this zombie is very powerful he could never breakout of the box as long as it was tightly sealed outside! Hahaha! As expected of our Captain, ah!"

He Qian decided to ignore what's happening.   He doesn't know the zombie and it was a fierce zombie that attacked his team so no matter how it was badly treated and was forced to adjust and curled in that very small and tight place he believed it was not part of his concern anymore.   The less he look at it the less he would pity it.   He turn around and headed inside the car as they will soon travel on the road again to go back home.

Li Huahuan and the other guy injured by the zombie man still remained unconscious and they were neatly placed in the military truck and Dong Ming decided to ride with them to look out for his friends.

After resting for 15 minutes they finally embark on their return journey.

With Xiao Xiao's effort they managed to avoid and encountered high level zombies making their trip much more safer.  Although there are some that they can't evade atleast they were less troublesome to handle.

"I'm thinking if little Xiao Xiao could also shapeshift into a giant size since the snake could do it." suddenly, the cold and silent man in the driving seat beside He Qian spoke making his sleepy eyes to open awake.

"Ah?" He Qian asked a bit confused. His little face stared at Captain Fu in a dizzy as the question did not sink his mind totally. He heard him asked but he was still confused as he stared at him his face saying 'Pardon! What of again?'

Tong Feng, together with them in the car, catched a glimpse of He Qian's face that shouted 'too adorable to resist!' and he snorted lightly that only him could hear.

'This man is not so manly at all. The face is too white and soft like a girl.' he suddenly thought to himself.  But since he already accepted He Qian as part of their family and he knows he can't be too useless he just shrugged it off and continue his silence at the backseat. With his arms crossing on his chest and leaning a comfortable position he closed his eyes continuing to rest as he owns the whole backseat for himself.

Tong Feng doesn't really like the frail and soft type of person that's why he is not too good with girls and he looked arrogant infront of others and if he see a man acting too soft and weak it made him look down on them for he believes that a man could only spread manly hormones and muscles. That is what is a man was!  But since He Qian only looked soft and adorable in appearance but was actually somewhat strong and courageous then he doesn't dislike him anymore. Atleast he is not the type of those species that would only act cute and weak just so they could be kept safe and protected in a base to be raised. He like this new little btother more now. And he is not as annoying as those two stupid pigmates such as Li Huahuan and Dong Ming that was such a pissed off and a sore eyes.

"Xiao Xiao could also shapeshift freely. When he grows more then he could also transform into a giant size animal." Captain said again with his serious face fixed on the road.

He Qian finally understand as he nodded and then as if strucked by lightning he was dumb for a moment before his mouth agape and his eyes rounded.  This idea never crossed his mind but when he thought of it he became excited as his eyes sparkled. Not only him, even the lazying kitten when heard of it also reacted with a shining and fantasizing eyes.  "Damn right! I never even thought about it but that is absolutely right."

The current matured size of Xiao Xiao was already so cool and majestic now then what more could it be when he could...

He Qian was suddenly excited in his seat as his butt wiggled and his body twisting a little as he move with excitement almost dancing on his reaction.

Captain Fu who secretly watched his reaction found it amusing and funny as the corner of his mouth raised a little though it only lasted for a few seconds as it also vanished into thin air as if it wasn't there.  "I believe Xiao Xiao is not just a simple little pet. Once he matured enough then he would be more powerful and amazing." he said with great interest as he had never ever seen an animal that is as different and special as his intelligent little pet. But ofcourse, Magus is another special case for him. The more the snake was with them the more interested things they learned from him. And obviously, he keeps a lot of intriguing secrets he was aching to know more. But as he is a very patient person and the snake won't be gone away, he can wait for it to open up. He's got a strong feeling that this mysterious silver snake was a good news. He just felt positive about it.
