He Qian carefully studied the black stone in his hand as he looked at it over and over as to see what's so special about it.
It was just almost the haft the size of his little hand but it was a shiny sparkly black thing that was very interesting to look at.
"This is actually one of Jia Shufen's important little secret but how can we use it?" He Qian said with interest as he played with the stone in his palm.
"Qianqian, why don't you try to probe your mental force into the stone." Magus suddenly suggested making He Qian stunned.
"Ah? Isn't it that I don't have this ability?" He Qian said confusedly. "You know I've been trying to practice and activate my mental force thinking that I have this ability but nothing actually happened in the end." he said bitterly and he pursed his lips.
"Ofcourse I know that. But you can try again. Just try it." Magus insisted.
"Impossible!"
"Just try to focus. Grasp the stone in your palm and close your eyes. Shut your senses. Feel the energy from within."
He Qian scratched his cheek.
"Qianqian, hurry up and listen. There is no harm in trying another failure again if it's gonna failed again." Xiao Xiao tried to encourage He Qian as he seated beside him but He Qian in the end felt a little offended with the kitten's encouragement.
Helpless, He Qian seated comfortably in the bed in a meditating form. "Fine. Let's do it once."
He Qian closed his eyes. He enhaled and exhaled and then he silently focused his mind. Grasping the stone in his right hand, he tried to feel the energy from within in his body. He remained focused and silent for a minute when he suddenly felt a warm and strange sensation from his palm. And he felt a strange force breaking deep within his mind.
His breathing became heavy as excitement billowed in his heart. 'This is..!'
He focused even more deeply.
He Qian doesn't realized it but Xiao Xiao and Magus witnessed how the black stone shined in his palm as its sized started to became less and less as if being absorbed. Like an ice cream in the very hot weather, the stone melted until it suddenly vanished. It disappeared!
He gasped as he opened his eyes. It feels like his mind had absorbed something refreshing. He suddenly felt good!
"Eh?" he blinked at his empty hands. "I.. It's gone?"
*hiss!*
"You absorbed it! You really absorbed it!" Magus was full of surprise and excitement as his golden snake eyes shined brightly. The silver snake was in daze for a moment but who knows what it was thinking.
"meow?"
"You can absorbed a stone?" Xiao Xiao asked also surprised. "Does it mean that you really a mental force ability user?"
He Qian grinned widely. "I am?"
"Or else what?" Xiao Xiao asked back. "How did you feel?"
"Good. Very good!"
"What else?"
"Besides feeling good I don't feel anything else." He Qian was not the least feeling down as his excitement really surpassed all of the past disappointments when he had repeatedly failed in activating his mental force.
"Congratulation! Qianqian, you are something very, very special." Magus said meaningfully but He Qian and Xiao Xiao could only detect the excitement in his voice as He Qian laughed happily. "But, did you actually know what that stone is?"
"Ah? You know of it?" He Qian asked curiously.
"It's like a cursed stone. An special type of stone that could absorbed a persons life force and ability. Although it's a weak one. It can still be used to someone under the 1st stage."
"Under the first stage? Wait.. wait, what?! You said it absorbed life force and ability?!" He Qian gasped. It absorbed an ability?! "It can absorbed a person's ability? What you said is true?"
"Yes. It was indeed what I said. And it is the truth. What's the fun in lying to you?"
"But.. But... You also said it absorbed life force?"
"Yes. If this little stone was used to absorb a person's ability, it was the same as sucking the person's life away."
He Qian remembered the original He Qian. 'So that stone is the one that killed his life? Then.. then absorbing someone's ability was actually not Jia Shufen's another ability but was the stone's ability?! Fucking! Hell!'
"Wait! Then how can the stone transfer the ability that it had sucked away from an ability user to another person?"
"I'm not sure. But it should be needed the blood of the ability user. *hiss!* I really wonder how did this thing get here."
He Qian's mind wonder. "It needed the blood.. "

What greeted He Qian at morning was Jia Shufen's angry and loud voice.
"Find it! Find it in every corner! Don't you dare stop! No one will stop until you find it!"
He Qian calmly descended from the stairs and when Jia Shufen saw him she is like an angry mother hen as she advanced infront of him.
"You! Don't you dare lie to me! Did you have it? Give it back!"
He Qian retreated two steps as if afraid. "What the hell is wrong with you? I haven't even touched yesterday and I was not the one beside you when you suddenly fainted. I haven't taken anything from you."
Jia Shufen was silent for a moment before she angrily stormed away.
He Qian smirked evily.
Jia Shufen actually did not even realized that He Qian directly explained and reasoned with her which is a bit suspicious since no one had yet to tell him what actually it is that she was looking for and why she was looking for it.
"Damn it! Li Chang is the one with me that night. There is also the nurse and that Doctor.. Damn! Who the hell is the bitch that stole from me! Mom! Mom! Where are you?! Did you find it?! Where the hell is Li Chang? Someone call him for me!"
"Wow! She's a real wild girl." Xiao Xiao commented.
"You bet." He Qian said as he find Butler Old Wang for his breakfast.
