11. Coup D'etat

AUTHOR'S POV:

It was the next day. Eren woke up without having any nightmares this time. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes.

'No nightmares this time... Thanks to her goodnight kiss...' Eren thought and smiled.

Armin was already awake. He was reading a book. He noticed that Eren just woke up without sweating.

"Good Morning Eren. Slept well ?" Armin asked.

"Yeah Armin. Thanks to her... Goodnight kiss.." Eren replied, looking away.

Armin just smiled. "Get ready Eren. We have training." Armin said, putting his book down.

"Yeah..."

They got ready and went to the mess hall. Mikasa was already there. They got their breakfast and sat together as usual.

Mikasa then remembered about yesterday's goodnight kiss. She blushed a bit.

"Hey Eren. Slept well yesterday ?" Mikasa asked with a smile.

"Yeah Mikasa. Thanks to your good night kiss." Eren replied with a smile.

"I am glad to hear that." Mikasa replied with a smile.

It was now their training time. Then Eren remembered that he had to inform Commander Erwin about Historia agreeing to be the Queen. He looked around and found her alone.

He made his way towards her. Christa noticed him and walked towards him.

"Hey Christa. Let's go and inform Commander Erwin." Eren said.

"Yeah. Let's go." She replied.

They made their way to Commander's office.

Ymir noticed Christa leaving with Eren.

'Where is she going with that Jeagar boy ? Are they together ?....mmmm...' Ymir thought.

Eren knocked on the door. After Erwin said 'Come In', he opened the door. Both of them saluted to Erwin.

"Commander, Christa agreed to be the Queen."

"I am glad to hear that but, are you sure, Christa ?" Erwin asked.

"Yes Commander." Christa replied with determination.

"That's good to hear. We are currently planning on taking down the fake king. Any suggestions?" Erwin asked, looking at Eren.

After a moment of thinking, Eren started speaking.

"How about we tell the noblemen and the fake king that, the mysterious titan is found and he is a human who can turn into a titan. If we would have luck then Rod would be there too. You have to tell them that, the shifter's name is Kruger. He is from outside the walls. He is willing to help in retaking Wall Maria. Knowing Rod Reiss, he would want to arrest him. In between the discussion, a soilder has to lie that Wall Rose is breached this time. Then the nobel man would order to close the gates. Then Premier Zachary will arrest them. A good interrogation with Rod will be helpful in tracking down his special squad. That's my plan. Although, some changes is much needed according to the situation." Eren explained.

Erwin thought for a moment and agreed with Eren. He dismissed Eren and Christa and went out to talk with Pixis.

"Are you sure the plan will work ?" Christa asked.

"Yeah. I am sure. The Nobels only think about themselves. Don't worry about it."

"Hmm."

"You have to be careful too. Rod could kidnap you..."
