12. Queen Historia And A Plan

AUTHOR'S POV:

It had been 6 days since Coup D'etat happened. The next day, Historia would be the Queen.

Eren was now just sitting on a bench, alone at night. He hadn't gone to sleep yet. He was just looking at the stars, deep in thoughts.

'Now that Historia became the Queen, we can go to the expedition outside the walls now.... Since my identity is still hidden, Annie won't attack this time.... What should we do then ?... If I want to do something, I need a titan with royal blood.... I don't want Historia to a be a titan shifter... Wait a minute... Dina.. What if we will found Dina ?... If we feed her Bertolt or Reiner, she could be back to normal.... Let's see...' Eren thought and sighed.

He sat there, not thinking about anything. He suddenly heard foot steps behind him. He turned around and saw Mikasa there. Mikasa then sat beside him, looking at the stars.

"Hey Mikasa. What are you doing here ?" Eren asked, looking at Mikasa.

"I can ask you the same question Eren." Mikasa replied, looking at him.

"I just couldn't sleep. That's it."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah. But why are you here ?"

"I-I just had a nightmare..." Mikasa said, looking down.

"Do you want to talk about it Mikasa ?" Eren asked while putting his hand on her's.

"N-No Eren..."

Eren didn't say anything. He pulled Mikasa closer to him and hugged her. Mikasa immediately melted in his arms. She hugged him back and placed her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

They stayed like that for a few minutes in silence. Then Eren spoke up, still being in that position,

"Feeling better now Mikasa ?"

"Y-yeah Eren.... Can we... Stay like this.. for some more time ?" Mikasa asked while blushing.

Eren blushed too. He smiled big and replied:

"Ok Mikasa. Anything for you."

"Thanks Eren."

They stayed like that in a comfortable silence. Eren started tearing up a bit. Mikasa was smiling big. Staying in that position, she felt like home.

'I could just stay like this forever...' Both of them thought.

After a few minutes, both of them pulled away from the hug. They stared at eachother's eye while blushing. Another  comfortable silence fell upon them. Mikasa broke the silence.

"Let's go Eren. We have to go to the ceremony tomorrow." Mikasa said, getting up.

"Yeah. You are right." Eren replied and got up too.

They walked towards their dorm room and stopped there.

"Good night Eren." Mikasa said.

She went in her tiptoe and kissed Eren's forehead again. She had been doing that for the last 6 days. Eren stopped having nightmares because of that.

Eren mustered up enough courage and kissed her on her forehead too. Mikasa was surprised, but she smiled afterwards.

"Good night Mikasa." Eren said with a smile.

They hugged eachother before going to their respective dorm rooms. Both of them were blushing deeply.
