For those who didn't read last chapter here's a summary of what happened, Shuichi figured out that Jayden had case DID, Kaede and Shuichi went on a date, and really just fluff after that. Hope you enjoy this episode.

Kaede's POV

That date was amazing, didn't buy anything except for food but it was still fun. Miu was talking to Jayden, something about engineering. Maki was scolding Kaito to not hug her in front of everyone, he didn't listen and hugged her again. Today, feels nice. Shuichi walks up to me and starts talking to me. Will me and Shuichi have kids? Will we get married? Will I still be even in a relationship with him later on? I realized that I was spacing out and snapped out of it, Shuichi was trying to get my attention," Kaede, hello? Is anybody there?" I grabbed his hands, he blushed," Yeah, sorry I spaced out. What'd you need Shuichi?" " Oh I was just wondering if you still wanted to go somewhere with everyone?" What was even near here? A restaurant, a mall but I'm not going there again, an amusement park, and an arcade. That's about it," Yeah, of course why wouldn't I want to go." Shuichi shrugged," Well let's wait for Kirumi to get back, then I can ask everyone." I nodded, I realized I was still holding Shuichi's hands, I let go of them. I looked at Shuichi, his eyes made me feel warm inside. He looked at me and cupped my cheek with his hand and kissed my head, I blushed and he reacted the same himself.

He then hugged me after, he was warm and I felt warm inside also. He let go, and I said goodbye to him. He waved back and went to talk to Kaito and Maki, I sat back down on a table and went on my phone. I sat there alone with all my thoughts, maybe I should talk to other people. I haven't really been that social at all, yeah I really should socialize more. My line of thought was broken when Jayden walked up to me," Have you seen Kirumi? She's been gone for around 19 minutes." I actually haven't got a clue of where she could be, I haven't seen her today." Jayden just sighed and walked off, but when he was thinking something hit him and he started walking off from the group. I decided to follow him, I wonder why he cares, I want to follow just to see, but should I feel like a creep if I did that. I decide to follow Jayden, he walked to the kitchen as I followed closely behind and when he entered he saw Kirumi. I went behind the door, the door is metal with a window, why am I doing this? " There you are," Kirumi turned around with a smile," Are you ok? You just left the group without saying a word." Kirumi sighed and smiled, though it was a straight forward question it took her a while to answer," Oh I'm perfectly fi-." " No you're not I know you Kirumi even if hasn't been for long." Looks like Jayden put someone else in his circle of trust, it's nice to see him like this," Fine, you want the truth? No, I'm doing terribly, I'm tired, I've been stressed, my job interview went into the ground, recent events," Tears were rolling down her face," I don't know what to do, I've just been less and less myself each day. S..So I..I can't handle anything r..right now, I j..ju-." She sat on the floor, and started crying, this is my first time I've seen her have a complete breakdown.

Jayden went over to her and sat with her," I know how you feel, it feels like the world is just crushing you or crumbling around you, but everything will turn out fine. Take a break from all responsibilities, just rest. I'll try to take over your job, ok?" Kirumi looked at Jayden and hugged him, Jayden hugged her back and blushed. Kirumi let go and looked up at Jayden," Thank you Jayden, I appreciate you. And good luck doing my job, it's a tough one." Jayden smiled at her and laughed, I just walked away after that. Why did I feel the need to follow Jayden? Well I'm glad I did it's nice to see Jayden get more "friends", I have a feeling that it turn out to be more. It usually does anyways, I made it out to the cafeteria and went towards Shuichi. I jumped at him and hugged him tightly making him lose balance," Well there you are, you know you could just walk up to me next time." He hugged me just as tightly and we let go,"You figure out where you want to go Kaede?" He smiled sweetly at me," I completely forgot about that, but yeah, I think so."
