Hospital

After reading comments from last chapter all people who commented asked for more fluff, so fair. This will be the last serious chapter for a while and then more fluff after that, so please enjoy.

Kaede's POV

Shuichi seems really caught up in his thought, but he sounded shaken and his voice in worry," Shuichi explain what the hell is happening." He was thinking about probably of how to tell me," Well, when you usually mix medicine and an especially an overdose of it and you wash it down with alcohol your organs like your heart and that would be fatal so let's check in his room." Shuichi ran to Jayden's room and started to bang on the door," Jayden it's me Shuichi open the door!"

Jayden opened the door," Yes?" Shuichi took a long exasperated sigh, Jayden looked paler then usual," Jayden are you ok because you look quite pale." I said still looking at him," Oh this is nothing, I just started pulling out of the lack of food I'll probably get some food don't worry." Are you sure?" Yeah I'm fi-." Jayden fell on the floor and started hyperventilating," I'm fine." That's when he passed out, Shuichi and I just stood there," I'll call an ambulance." I said with a quiet voice, Shuichi snapped out of his daze and I called the ambulance," Kaede can you help me to carry Jayden?"

I obliged and helped carry him, Jayden was just above averge weight so it wasn't a problem for Shuichi and I, we put him down on the lobby couch. We just sat there in silence hoping we would here sirens any minute, yet only car horns and cars driving by," His condition is only worsening at this rate he co.uld die within half an hour." Shuichi just sat there after he declared that statement, I mean I don't blame him at all. After another excruciating 10 minutes we could finally hear sirens and an ambulance stopped, medics came out to bring Jayden in and question us of what happened after that they left to the same hospital as before the Adrialahana Medical Center. ( I don't think this is an actual hospital)

Just like that it was silence except crickets chirping," This has just been a very busy week. We all need something to calm down too, what do you think Kaede?" I sat there thinking about it, that woyld be a nice couple days but including Jayden would be rough since he hasn't really made friends with anybody here except us," Honestly that sounds nice as soon as Jayden comes out of the hospital." Shuichi smiled," No rush." We walked back to our room because we hadn't found anything to do, what time is it? I looked at my watch 8 pm that should mean that the others are awake," Shuichi let's tell the others what happened." Shuichi just looked out the window and sighed," Kaede, I'm glad your optimistic but they could care less about Jayden or his health." " Come on what could've happened that made them hate him that badly, that they don't even have a heart to care about his health?"

" I don't know what could've happened but let's just figure this out by ourselves." I just nodded and we went to our bedroom and cleaned up and I fell asleep for the next day.

Timeskip

Shuichi's POV

I wake up and I see Kaede still asleep. Dang she's still sleeping it's already 8:30, Jayden should still have his phone in the hospital

Shuichi: Jayden when you have time text me back

I turned off my phone and proceeded to wake Kaede, Kaede is to heavy of a sleeper. I slapped her and nothing happened except Kaede is still sleeping, I give up and I left the room towards the cafeteria, it seemed more lively them yesterday. I walked in and they greeted me with open arms which was a complete turnaround from last night,"Hey Shuichi! Where's Kaede?" Kiibo said with a smile," She's sleeping still, why? And what with the emotion change from yesterday?" "Well Jayden's not here at all we can't seem to find him sidekick." Kaito yelled," What even happened to hate Jayden so much?" They all sighed, like they knew this would be brought up," Looking over everyone's meeting with Jayden and looks like they were all assaulted in some way or another, so honestly sidekick it'd better if he left and that's what happened, maybe it was different but majority says that he's more likely to hurt us than to help us."

I have to tell them what really happened," Guys, he didn't leave, he's in the hospital and he almost died last night." Kaito just shrugged it out like it was nothing," Guys try to give a second chance to Jayden."

Kaede's POV

I start to barely wake and I check the clock and it's already 9:00 and Shuichi's gone, I get ready and hurry downstairs where I go to the cafeteria and see Shuichi hanging out with everyone," Oh hey Kaede." Shuichi seems quite normal and everyone else seems back to normal," What's with the change of mood?" " Well I asked them to give Jayden a second chance to meet everyone." I just chuckled," Really that's all you had to do?" I asked in a sarcastic manner," Yeah apparently."

Well I'll go and check on Jayden and you stay here and boost up morale," How are you going to get there?" "Taxi." He looked worrisome but accepted it anyways," Please come back at 12:00 or if you don't text me." He kissed me and we waved goodbye, I called over a taxi and made my way to the hospital.

I made it to the hospital and it was quiet, it was weird for a place like this to be so quiet. I checked in and went to 3104 and soon I saw Jayden on his bed just sitting up," Hey, didn't really expect anyone to come see me, what do you need help with?" " I don't need help with anything, I came to check up on you." I said," Kaede, you don't have to lie, what do you need help with." He chuckled," I really came to check up on you, how are you doing?" He just sighed," Well the best can in this hospital bed, how's people doing back at the place?"

" Well... They are willing to give you second chance!!" I bascally shouted that," Jesus, calm down," I went quiet," Anyways I'm glad that they'll give me chance." We stood there in silence," Well I might as well leave and let you rest." I started to leave until," Kaede let me ask you a question." I turned and smiled," And that question would be." He started to stare off into his glass,"How do you stay so optimistic in even the most dire situation?"

He's referring to past events," I'm glad you think that but honestly, I don't. I put on a smile to keep other people optimistic but really I'm not that optimistic in those types of situations. That's why I'm a pianist I joined to keep everyone happy, it's just a part of me to keep a smile as much as possible honestly." He just looked back at me,"You're the complete opposite from me, you help people, I don't... at least not anymore." I stood there silence, but in the end I hugged him. I stopped after a couple of seconds and smiled," Oh umm well that just happened, inhales and exhales thanks for that, anyways I'll be resting. And also tell Shuichi I said hi."

I waved goodbye and left the hospital room, it was 11:00 its been 2 hours already? I waved down a taxi and went back to the apartments.

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates, it's just that I've been losing interest but more notifications I get from Wattpad telling me people are commenting and or adding to reading list has sparked motivation to continue. I also have a question, would you like me to tap more into the characters thoughts or the same interview style I've been doing or both because I've been reading my story and also compare my to other books and other books focus more on the characters thoughts.

So I'm asking you guys how you would this story to go. Anyways school is now in session but with this three day weekend we have for labor day I will try to do one more story thus weekend, so have a nice day and or night!
