The door creaked open, as a thin ray of light shined through. My eyes opened slowly and my mother walked in. "Jansenia, are you awake?" "mmmhhhmmm..." I groaned.
"Its time to get ready for the last day of school." she whispered. I roll over, and pull the covers up higher to enjoy my last few seconds of rest. The next thing I know, I'm re-living the whole thing, accept my mom is yelling to me from downstairs. "Jansenia, your going to be late! Breakfast is on the counter."
"Sorry mom, coming!" I yell. I rub my eyes, stretch, and see stumble across my bedroom floor.
"where is..oh..." I go to reach for my backpack, and see my cat looking at me. he's a fluffy, well-groomed gray Persian. he is probably the most gentle, kind, and soft cat I know. he has his own sparkling personality, and cute blue eyes to go with it.
suddenly a hear my phone buzz from inside my bag.
Its my best friend Genna.
Genna is tall and thin, with long red hair and lots of freckles. She has big green eyes, perfect side bangs,
and she always wears her hair up.
The text says, "where are you Jansy?! there's free fro-yo at the bus stop today! :O "
"sorry Genna I'm still getting ready, :-P "
I put on deep blue button up tank top with lace straps and a little collar, and a pair of the usual, black leggings.
I run downstairs, and slip on my neon green sneakers, and grab my breakfast.
"Aren't you going to say goodbye?" mom asks as she looks up from her book.
"oh, thanks mom, bye!"
