".. yea sorry for the .. rip in your shirt, you know i get a little excited pulling things out of ..place " jinsoul said slyly, smiling in her direction.

jungeun rolled her eyes in a not so playful way. i mean how the fuck was she gonna explain to sooyoung that she's wearing the cropped blazer her ex came in wearing. maybe she didn't see her?

she soon felt her wrap her hands around my waist, "whatcha' thinking about jungie ?" jinsoul said kissing her neck. "thinking about how much of a dumbass you are and how i'm going to explain why im wearing your blazer. is that fucking valid enough for you?" she replied, looking down not wanting to see her face.

i mean seriously she loves to ask the dumbest shit.

"well if you actually had let me explain we wouldn't be in a situation where you have to explain jungeun." she said gripping her waist tighter, knowing it would leave a bruise.

"what the fuck is there to explain huh?!  you cheated on me, remember?" jungeun said as her nose flared up, turning to look at her. jinsoul looked at her with disbelief; scoffing as she pursed her lips together.

to jungeun this was a mistake. everything was a mistake, a big beautiful mistake. a mistake she'd love to live over and over.

jungeun would never let jinsoul explain. it was an uncomfy situation to speak on but jinsoul was willing to open up just for jungeun to understand.

jungeun ran to the bathroom looking for coverups. maybe concealer, maybe a little bronzer as well. yet there was no luck.

"you definitely weren't saying that 30 minutes ago, jungie.." jinsoul snickered reminiscing of how jungeun looked under her. "tell me has she fucked you yet, did she satisfy you jung..hm ?" jinsoul said profoundly, as she brung her lips to graze jungeun's ear.

jungeun trembled as she found herself in the most familiar state whenever she was around the older.

jinsoul smiled smugly, yearning for the answer, "are you gonna answer me or am i going to have to make you?" said the older as in an almost childish voice.

jungeun just nodded silently, not trusting how her words would come out.

"use your words," jinsoul kissed her neck "baby."

jungeun shivered as she felt neighborly ache in her lower area. it was an ache that only happened when she was with jinsoul.

not that sooyoung couldn't work magic herself, it's just that her heart nor vagina wanted sooyoung. and that's just an understatement.

"jinsoul we are not about to fuck in the bathroom." jungeun said as she pushed jinsoul and walked out of the bathroom and bedroom.

"it's not like it hasn't happened before!" jinsoul said ironically, laughing at the statement she had made.

as jungeun walked down the stairs of the second floor leading into the living room but the sight of Jiwoo—Jungeun's former roommate—sent a pang of confusion through her.

It had been months since they last spoke, and a part of Jungeun wondered why Jiwoo had become so distant. had she done something wrong? it was just puppy love, jiwoo didn't mind her talking to sooyoung?

right?

"jiwooming!" jungeun called out, forcing a bright smile as she approached her. She hoped to rekindle the friendship they once had, but the hesitance in jiwoo's expression gave her pause.

"hi, jungeun," jiwoo replied flatly, her voice lacking the warmth it used to hold. the spark in her eyes seemed dimmed, making jungeun's heart sink.

"Is something wrong, jiwoo? did i do something?" — Jungeun asked, worry etching itself onto her features. she was being left in the dark. oblivious. smart, but very mentally challenged. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

jiwoo narrowed her eyes as she scoffed, disbelief washing over her. "you really don't know why i'm beyond furious at you?" she questioned, her tone sharp. clenching her jaw.

jungeun, actually felt shivers down her spine. why is she so serious, and why does she actually have a black belt in taekwondo.

jungeun stood frozen, confusion flooding her mind. "no, i actually don't," she replied, her heart pounding as she awaited an explanation anxiously, looking around to catch nothing but jiwoo's eyes.

with an exasperated sigh, Jiwoo pulled Jungeun aside, lowering her voice as if the walls themselves might hear. "so i never told you about sooyoung..." she said, emphasizing each word like a secret meant to be shared in confidence. —" god jungeun, why the fuck are you acting confused."

— are you trying to manipulate me, because you can't do that."

"what about sooyoung?" jungeun asked, curiosity piqued but patience wearing thin.

"do you not remember our conversations? i've been in love with on sooyoung unnie for fucking ever!" Jiwoo exclaimed, frustration bleeding into her voice as she gazed at Jungeun, waiting for a reaction. — "and you took her from me .. what kind of best friend are you," she laughed dryly, "except a fake one. and i'm disgusted you're even talking to me."

jungeun blinked, processing the revelation. "excuse me, say what?  you— in love with sooyoung?" she asked, the reality hitting her hard. "i thought it was just a crush when you were 12, please let that go!"

"i thought you knew! i thought you were with her," Jiwoo replied, her voice rising in exasperation. "and then you started dating her without a word. i didn't know how to handle it."

jungeun felt a jolt of realization. "so you've been silent all this time because you thought i was happy with her?" she took a step back, processing the tangled web of emotions surrounding them.

jiwoo sighed heavily, the guilt etched on her face. "as much as i hated your guts, i still loved you jungeun. i wanted you happy, and if it was with her then so be it." —  it hurt to see you with her, knowing how i felt — feel."

jungeun's heart ached for her friend. "i had no idea, wooming. i thought we were good. i never meant to hurt you — please believe that."

jiwoo's expression softened, she nodded slightly, looking away as she realized how distant she had been. "i'm sorry for ignoring you. i didn't know how to bring it up," she admitted, her voice trembling with vulnerability.

"let's talk about it," jungeun suggested gently. "i care about you, and i don't want this to ruin what we have — i love you more than anything kim jiwoo."

as they stood there, an unspoken understanding began to bridge the gap that had grown between them. despite the tangled emotions and complicated histories, they were still best friends at heart, and that was something worth fighting for.

"please don't hate me again, " jungeun whispered, her voice breaking as she stepped closer, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"never," jiwoo said softly, pulling jungeun into an embrace. "you're my best friend, and i wouldn't trade that for anything." — i'd rather die than be without you." jungeun said as she giggled.

jiwoo just smiled, content to be in the arms of her bestfriend again. the bestfriend that she loved dearly.

jungeun would let the world burn for kim jiwoo.

as they pulled apart, the tension in the air began to dissolve. jungeun felt lighter, as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. they had a lot to work through, but with each other's support, she was ready to face whatever came next.
