"I-I can't destroy it..." Otto lay in the river, his fusion reactor... his dream was burning as bright as it had ever been, it was so bright. He turned to look back at Peter Parker, Curts student, brilliant, but lazy... Apparently, he was Spider-Man, maybe he was right, maybe Peter-

"Sometimes... to do what's right, we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most." Peter stared into Otto's eyes sadly "...even our dreams."

Otto's brow furrowed, it-it was his dream, he was supposed to... Rosie's face flashed in his vision, the look in her eyes... the reactor did that, it killed her. Why did he think that building another one would help? Obviously, his calculations had been off, did he even bother to check them? No, no he didn't he was too...

"He's right," Otto told one of his actuators, who screeched in response.

"W-What?" Peters's face fell... he lost him.

"You were smiling, you were smiling what are you doing? What is your plan here? To watch me fail is that it?!" Otto was getting worked up, the actuator around Peters's neck tightened, he clawed at the metal that was slowly suffocating him.

"What no I-I didn't mean it in that way you were taking your mind back-"

"No, no I'm done playing your games Parker. " he seethed. "My reactor will work, it can't be stopped! It's self-sustaining! It will keep on going and it will provide clean sustainable energy like it was designed to do and YOU will never stop me!" he swore.
