The night was worse than the Day. If you'd listen carefully you'd hear the owls.
After settling down in her new room, she had laid on the bed. The material wasn't that soft, but better than being tied up. The bed too wasn't big just enough to fit her and maybe some space for another person who isn't very huge.
The room in general was spacious and large. But plain, even for her who lacked a sense of fashion.
She didn't have alot of clothing so it didn't take time to arrange in that huge white cupboard. What took time was her jewelry collection.
Like little babies she arranged each.
Then adored them. When she was done, she laid there watching the plain light bulbs on that ceiling.
She didn't knew when she fell asleep, but when she woke up it was quieter than the Day.
It was very dark and she shivered lightly, especially when the light breeze hit her.She turned to see where the wind came from, from the window she saw the half moon and the swooshing trees. Again she shivered but not from cold but from the eery aura the place emitted.
She quickly stood up and walked over to shut the window. She didn't close the shutters because of the dark, so she walked around looking for the light switch. When she finally got it beside her bed she lit it up then ran over to shut the shutters.
" This place gives me the creeps" she complained. If it wasn't for her complaining stomach she wouldn't have woke up. Of course she had never gone this far without a meal.
Carefully, she got out of her room once again being greeted with darkness.
" Seriously?!"
She carefully walked on her palm feeling the wall untill she met a light switch.
Slowly the corridor was filled up with dimmed light." That's all...?"she sighs.
After successfully arriving the kitchen, she found a note on the table telling her that her meal was in the microwave. She happily heat it up then begun to hungrily eat it.
She wondered where everyone was.
When she was done she sat in the huge living room . For a while she was undecided on what to do,
After staring at the black screen for a while she switched it on then started flipping through the channels. She decided to settle on an animal show. After few minutes af dozing of and hitting her head on the arm rest she switched it off.
A thought run her mind of being all alone in that huge house in the middle of nowhere. What if animals barged in? Zombies apocalypse ??She rushed to the door to twist it, she was going to run away...
Of course
It was locked.
She peeped outside to meet numerous guards roaming around." Well atleast now I am sure I'm not going anywhere" she sighed sarcastically.
She walked back to her room sluggishly, not switching off any lights. In fact, she switched on all lights.
******
What woke her up was a loud ring, she quickly sat up holding her chest in fright. That's when she realised that she had knocked down the bell in her sleep.
It felt like it was morning already, and her stomach growled big time. But she was never a morning person. She clicked her tongue inwardly cursing the bell, then slept again.
It didn't feel like it was long before she felt a light tug On her foot.
She was started because it felt like something cold had touched her. Quickly sitting up and composing herself at the same time made her loose balance and she fell on the floor with a thud.
