There was a time when she couldn't cry anymore...
She had also lost track of days.
When she had stopped counting it was around day fifteen or sixteen.

A week had passed and no sign of a living person.
Rosie didn't expect the man was kind. Though she hoped the rest did not actually follow his demands.
Since that dreadful day, Rose had not seen any living soul...
Well except for the rats flies and lizards...

At first she'd shudder at the thought of her dying in the mid of nowhere and only rats and flies to mourn her death.

But now it really didn't seem like a bad idea...
At least her dad wouldn't get to see that body.
Pale skin... Sunken eyes, bursted lips because of the thirst and dryness in her mouth.
God forbid, no parent should ever witness that.

She had played and replayed her escape in her head but not anymore. Not when no-one ever opened that door...
Not with that strong chain tied up with her leg . Holding her down..
Like an animal.
She was destined to die that way.
She hadn't seen her captor but his face haunted her in her dreams..
Strangling her to death.

So it reached a time when she even lost the strength to get up.
She would lay there, wake up ...
Pass out...
Wake again...
Epic torture.

And one day she felt the door open. But she couldn't look up to see who it was by the door...
After some time she felt the door slowly creek shut, she rose her face and saw a bowl of water ...
She crawled tiredly to it..

The first sip felt so refreshing like cold water in hot summer, she hungrily finished the whole thing...
When she was done she sat there contemplating whether her life was even worth it...
She never did anything to be remembered of.

If... Just if, she walked out here alive,
She would live her life.

Sleep didn't find her that early that day. So she just layed there and slipped into space.

In the middle of the night she heard the door creek once more. She layed still...not even moving an inch.
She felt something warm cover her...

The next day when she found the blanket she knew it wasn't a dream. Someone was deliberately playing a role of her saving grace.
But who?
Determined... Today if that person came she'd confront whoever it was.
But today was eventless, when her hunger threatened to take her life she curled up and cried to sleep.

When she woke up she found a bowl of porridge oats on the floor. At this time she did not have the mind to think if it was poison she hungrily grabbed it and ate as she cried
How did he life ever turned so sour?

This went on for days... Yet she did not manage to see whoever it was that was helping her.
On one hand she was Thanksful .
But on the other...
She felt troubled. What if that man came and found her alive ?
Would he resort to other means of killing her..?

The day when the door slowly squeeked early that morning she quickly shot up...
The man Infront of her almost run away... He looked even more scared than she was.
Unlike the men that chased her ....
He wasn't that huge, he looked frail and adorable

" Wh...who are you?"Rosie asked

"G--go back to sleep or .... Or ...

"Or..?"Rosie rose her brow

" Or I'll hurt you"

Rosie looked at the bowl of food he was carrying
" With what?"

The man looked around
" Uhmm...

" You have been taking of me no?" She asked

He meekly nodded
" Don't tell anyone" he said quickly

She smiled sadly ... " No-one realy comes down here"
