The only sound resonating in the quiet dinning hall was forks knives and spoons clattering with the expensive China.
" So..." Sergio spoke killing the silence after a long time.
" It's about four months... So you have something handy" he said looking at Silas.
Silas was not quick at responding, he took his sweet time sipping water he cut his steak again.
" I'm talking to you" Sergio said
" Table manners" Silas sad then went back eating.
Sergio scoffed " really?"
" Dad... No business on the table." Gaia pouted
Sergio gave an apologetic look to his daughter" I'm sorry princess ... I have a tendency to forget you know"
Rocco scoffed.
Sergio glared.
" Guys... This is literally the first time we are having a meal together since the year begun.. like four months ago, can we make it worth... Like a chat, no business. God I miss Apollo"
Gaia said at the three men in her family one acting bored like he'd rather be anywhere than here, one the usual ass... And her dad... We'll just being his usual self.
"Can we do that..? " She asked again when they did not respond.
" Yes amore" Sergio said
" Yeah" Rocco sighed
When it was too quiet Silas looked up and found everyone looking at him expectantly, especially Gaia
" Okay" he shrugged
" Great..." Gaia clapped " my birthday is next month, I'm turning eighteen legal age of drinking"
She stopped when all three glared at her.
" Seriously guys!"
" You can have some grape juice... At some point"
" Dad!'' she whined
" Or some orange juice" Rocco teased
" That is not fair, Rocco drinks until he pass out..."
" Rocco is---
" A boy?" She snapped
" Stupid... Rocco is stupid, not you though"
" I'm going to pretend like I did not hear that" Rocco said to his father
" Okay fine... I'll drink Luciano...at a healthy amount"
" Good.. now I already know its no surprise that we will hold a grand ball for Luciano princess" Sergio said
Gaia smiled." By the way... Maddie called me and asked why it's called a bloody Ball... Please tell me she was pulling my leg"
" No.. she's right"
" Dad!? Why would you name it that way...that's freaky"
" Why would a ball be bloody?" Rocco asked.
" Because the theme would be red and lots of red wine.. can we relax " Sergio said calmly
" Hmm that makes a lot of sense..." Silas said sarcastically.
" Look I'll hold a press conference... You call all your friends... And invite them...okay"
Gaia nodded getting up. She smiled at them then turned to take a glance at Silas who was on his phone. She knew this was the last time she saw him untill ... Well like a couple of months again. She bent and kissed his cheek.
