Y/N Y/L/N
It's was Thursday, our graduation ceremony was tomorrow. I have helped Eddie all year with his studies. I was so excited to finally graduate, I couldn't tell if I was more excited for Eddie or I. The most important thing was, we were doing it together. I look at my cap and gown displayed, hanging from your closet door. Suddenly my door opens, with out a knock or anything. I can see Eddie in the doorway. My mom let him in, I figured. "Hi sweetheart" he says "hi Eddie" I kiss him.
"Are you excited to graduate Eddie" I ask "love, I've been trying so long to graduate, you are the only person who has ever taken the time to help me, I'm more excited for you than me" he says "Eddie it's your day tomorrow, remember that" I say. He hugs me tightly. We sit on the edge of my bed together his hands holding mine. "Eddie, tomorrow my whole family is going out to dinner after graduation, my parents and I were wondering if you and Wayne would like to join" I say looking at him "of course princess" he says pulling me into his chest.
We both lay down, Eddie kicks off his shoes. "Can you stay the night" I ask "we can run by the trailer and get your stuff before school" I add "darling, you don't even have to ask" he responds "but will you braid my hair before we sleep" he asks "you don't have to ask me twice" I laugh a bit "sit up" I pause "sit at my desk, let me go get a hair tie" I say before standing up. I run to the bathroom and grab a hair tie off the counter. "Okay, I'm back" I say as I begin to braid his hair. I secure the tie at the end "c'mon it's late, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow" I say before climbing back into the bed. Eddie takes off his jeans leaving him in his boxers and his Hellfire shirt. He climbs in to. "C'mere sweetheart" he pats his chest signaling you to come closer. I do, I get close as possible I press myself into his chest, my arms wrapping around his back. "Goodnight, doll" "sleep well" his comforting tone makes me relax. "G'night Ed's" "see you in the morning" I close my eyes. I can feel his cold steel rings on my back. Soon I'm asleep.
Eddie Munson
It doesn't take me long to fall asleep after y/n. I didn't wake up at all that night, we didn't even move, we are so comfortable together. I wake up before her. I am awake for about 5 minutes just admiring her, she is beautiful when she is asleep. Mrs.Y/L/N knocks on the door, I don't answer so she opens the door a bit and peaks her head in. "Oh, Eddie, I thought you left last night" she pauses "did y/n mention dinner to you last night, you and Wayne are welcome to come" she continues "she did, we will be there" I whisper so I don't wake Y/N "wake her up soon" she smiles before closing the door again. "Sweetheart, time to wake up" I say. Her eyes open "good morning Eddie" she says "we need to get ready" she says before springing up. We both get dressed. Y/N un-braids my hair. Then I watch as she folds up her gown and grabs her decorated cap, she puts them in her school bag. We go downstairs together. Her mother had made eggs. We eat before heading out to my van "bye mom bye dad I'll see you this afternoon" she pauses "mom, after school I'm going to Eddie's to help him get ready, after we will meet you at the restaurant" she calls "okay, honey, be safe" she says. I close the door behind us.
We drive to my uncles trailer, I run in to grab my school bag, cap and my gown. I run back out to the van and drive us to school. Y/n looks even more beautiful in the early morning sunlight. I park in the same spot I always do. I jump out and run around to the passenger sides, I open the door for her, giving her a hand to hold as she takes the step down. We walk into the building. I walk her to her fist period then go to mine.
*After School*
Y/n Y/l/n
I always meet Eddie right next to the flower pots outside of the school building. "Hi princess, did you have a good day" his hand is on my waist "I did, did you" I say "I did, because you're in it" he says before kissing me. He drops his bag onto the cement so his second hand is free, his hands are traveling my body. I can feel the eyes of other students and teachers on us, but we don't care. I pull away to take a breath and look back at him. "We better get home, can we run by my house I need to grab a few things" I ask "of course" he smiles before picking up his bag again. "Let's go" he says. I follow him. We approche the caravan he begins fishing though the pockets for his keys. He finds them and opens the door for me, I climb in the van. Eddie closes the door and does the same. I fasten my seatbelt before he gets in.
Once we are back at my home I run in and grab my curlers, and my makeup bag. I have to dig through my whole closet to find a bag that will fit these items. As soon as I find one I gently place the items in and run back to Eddie's van. I climb back in "sorry I took forever I had to find a bag for this stuff" I say "it's okay, you don't have to apologize" he smiles while placing his hand on my thigh. He turn the radio on and we listen as he drives up back to the tailer. He takes the sharp turn into the tailer park, he pulls up into the dirt driveway. He runs around and opens my door. He gives me a hand. He Carrie's the bag "Jesus what's in here a cinder block" he remarks while walking up the stairs.
I run to the bathroom taking the bag out of Eddie's hands "we have thirty minutes to get ready,Eddie" I shout "I need to curl my hair" I say while fishing the mechanism out of the bag and plugging in into the wall "this needs to heat up" I breathe "well I need to shower" Eddie is now leaning on the doorway "you can shower while I do this, we just have to leave the door open" I say "so the mirror doesn't fog" I add "okay" he complies before starting the shower. You start doing your makeup, it's always light, you liked being natural, not even your mom could tell you were wearing any. Eddie is almost done showering when you finish my makeup and begin putting the curlers into your hair. One by one I roll and pin the hot cylindrical mechanisms into my hair. I slide your gown on over my leggings and shirt. Eddie gets out of the shower.
Twenty Minutes.
"Can I use your hair dryer" he asks "yeah" I walk back to the bathroom "you look funny" he says over the noise. I don't mind, he's just joking. I laugh again. It's almost time for me to take out my curlers I take them out. Eddie goes to get dressed. He slides on his gown over his nice shirt and dress pants. He grabs his cap, so do I. We leave and head back to the school. There's already people outside. The traffic is insane as well. Eddie finally finds a parking space he runs around opening the door for me. This time instead of giving me a hand he just picks me up. I giggle as he sets me on the ground. "Eddie I'm so excited to graduate with you" I smile before kissing him "I know doll face, I'm probably more excited then you" he grabs my hand before taking me out the the stadium.
We take a seat in our chairs. Around 10 minutes later the ceremony starts. Principal Higgins is calling names. People are clapping and cheering. Soon my name is called. I stand up the biggest smile on my face, kissing Eddie before I walk up, I notice just my family is cheering. Probably because I'm a freak. I smile at the principal, grab my diploma and walk off the stage. I run back to your seat holding my diploma "congratulations, sweetheart" Eddie kisses you "thanks Eddie, I love you" I bury my head into his neck. We are waiting for Eddie's name.
"Will Eddie Munson, make his way up" principal Higgins says. Eddie has the biggest brightest smile ever. I kiss him. He begins walking up, I start cheering. The thing is I know what he's gonna do. My family, Wayne, the hellfire boy and I are the only ones cheering. Eddie approches the principle he grabs his diploma, flips Higgins off then runs like hell off the stage. Eddie sits back down with me "Eddie I'm so proud of you, baby" i hug him.
Around 30 minutes later the name calling is over. "Will the class of 86 please stand" we all stand up. "3..2..1" we throw our caps. Eddie kisses me, passionately. People are leaving some staring. I hug Eddie tightly. We walk back to my parents to see my whole family chatting with Wayne. We greet them. Eddie gives Wayne the biggest hug "I'm so proud of you, boy" he says. I hug my family too. I look to Wayne and walk towards him, my arms open. I hug him "thank you so much, y/n you made this possible" he says "Wayne, I love your nephew I couldn't have graduated without him" I say. Eddie is going down the line hugging and meeting some of your family members.
"Come on let's all go to dinner" my father says. We all agree.
After dinner I go back to the tailer with Eddie and we cuddle the night away.
