Eddie and I were laying in bed watching a movie. It was almost over. Honestly, I'm surprised we made it this far, he loses interest in long movies fast. Once the movie was over Eddie began ask me endless questions about the movie. After explaining the whole movie to Eddie I rested my head on his chest and tried to drift off to sleep.
"Y/n" he paused "y/n, wake up, I have a really important question" he rambles. Cant it wait until the morning? "What would we name our baby when we finally have one" he says "for a girl maybe Anne or Samatha but for a boy, hmm" he's thinking. He has my full attention now "for a girl I like Ivy, Mavis, Marceline but I don't know any good boy names" I say. He's still thinking.
"Cliff, James, Lars, Kirk" he's using names of Metallicas members. I laugh, thinking he wasn't serious.
He is so serious.
"I like the name mavis for a girl" he says "Mavis Munson, has a nice ring" he says "what about a middle name" I ask "maybe her middle name can be after your mom" he says "maybe after my mom" he dosent like that idea as much.
"Mavis Rose Munson" i say.
"Or Mavis Ivy Munson" I add.
"Both are beautiful" he says wrapping his arms around you. "Let's keep those ideas, we have awhile to pick, my love, why don't you get some rest" he pulls me into his chest.
I do just that.
