At school today you asked Chrissy if she wanted to go to the mall with you later. She said no, lately she has been blowing you off for her cheerleader friends. You left the table you always sit at with Chrissy and over to your boyfriend, Eddie's table with his Hellfire Club.
"Hey, sweetheart, thought you wanted to sit with Chrissy" he says confused "well she's busy and I don't wanna be a bother" you say "oh, well, come here and sit" he says while patting his lap, signaling you to come sit. He's talking to the club and you just listen. Trying to relax.
"Baby, you've hardly touched your food, you alright" his hands are securely placed on your waist. "I-I'm fine" you hold back your feelings. When the lunch bell rings Eddie stands up with you and leads you out of the building. "Eddie, we have class" you try yo pull him back in "class can wait, you're gonna tell me what happened, m'kay" he says "let's walk" he grabs your hand leading you out to the forest behind the schoolyard.
"Go on, baby, I'll listen it's okay" he tries to be comforting. "Chrissy has been blowing me off for some other cheerleader girls, but it's fine, everyone in my life always leaves and I feel like I can't trust anyone" tears begin to flow down your face. "You feel like you can trust me, right" he asks. "Yeah, I feel like I can trust you, the only person I can" you hiccup over your sobs, sniffling.
Suddenly, he stops walking and takes both of your hands in his. "I'm always here for you, y'know that, I love you so much and I will do anything to see you smile, Chrissy just isn't a good friend, I promise when you find the right people they'll always stay" he looks down at you. Your neck cranes to see him fully "like you, you'll never leave, right" you pull yourself into his chest sobbing. "No,no, baby, I'll never ever leave" he rubs down your back.
"Let me take you back to my place, doll" he says "what about school" you ask "shh,shh, they won't even notice we're gone" he holds you in his arms. "Okay" you agree, hesitantly still choking over your sobs.
"Eddie, I love you so much" you say before he walks you back to his van. "I love you more" he kisses you're forehead.
You get to the van and look in the mirror, you're face is all red and your eyes puffy from crying. He opens the door for you as always. He acts like you're royalty. "M'lady" he says smiling. He makes sure you have your seatbelt on and closes the door. He gets in on the driver side and bring you to his trailer.
He brings you inside.
He picks you up and runs to the bed. You laugh and kick your feet. "There's that pretty smile, princess" he sits on the bed with you still in his arms. "I'd do anything just to see that perfect smile" he says before kissing the tip of your nose. You don't say anything, you just hug him. He hold you in his arms until you fall asleep.
