I got up a little earlier than expected and went over to Yuki to see she's still sleeping.
I fixed the covers on her and she turns on her side feeling uncomfortable. Then there was a knock at the door with a doctor soon coming in.
"Oh? You must be?" The doctor asked in confusion
"Her husband." I said and he nods
"I'm sorry there we're just a lot of people her for Yuki yesterday. But I'm glad your here actually. Your babies heart rate is back to normal compared to yesterday." He said and I looked at him confused
"What do you mean was something wrong?" I asked and he shakes his head no.
"It's just h- I mean it's heartbeat was going faster than usual. Usually the baby's heart beat is under 140 but went up a lot more yesterday. Probably due to all the commotion that was going on around the mother... I'm glad it slowed down because if it went any faster... The fetus would've died from heart failure." The doctor said "but I have to admit you have a stong family here."
And I started smiling a bit "Now I'm going to check on her wound, change it, and then give you guys some supplies for when your at home. Then you guys will be good to go." The doctor said while putting his gloves on and I head over to Yuki and tries to wake her up. And she opens her eyes a little seeming a little froggy.
"Mmm Sasuke?" She asked while reaching out for me and I give her my hand. And she starts crying out of no where.
"Is the baby okay? Is it alright?" She asked me.
"Yes it's alright I promise it's okay." I said while putting my forehead on hers and the doctor coughs trying to get our attention.
"Can I check on your scar if you don't mind." He asked her and I help her sit up.
"Uh yea sure." she said while lifting her hospital gown above her stomach.
He removes the bandage on her stomach and cleans the wound whiping the gel. I look at the wound and squeezed her hand and she looks at me.
"You better not be sitting here thinking it's you're fault." She said and my eyes widened. "Hit the nail on the head?" She asked and I looked away from her and she sighs.
"Sasuke..." Yuki muttered and I turn to look at her. "This isn't your fault we were both unaware we didn't know this would happen." Yuki said and then the doctor finishes changing the wound.
"I know but it should've been me instead of you." I muttered and she made me look at her. While bringing our faces close together.
"Stop it, what happened has already happened. You can't change the past...The only thing we can do is look forward and forget about everything else. Our baby is fine and that is all that matters you hear me." Yuki said sternly practically scolding me and I kiss her nodding in agreement.
"Okay I'll be right back with your supplies. She can change back into her normal clothes." The doctor said "You both can meet me out in the front once your ready." He said while walking out the room.
As soon as he leaves Yuki sighs loud "ugh I hate hospitals." She said while putting on her clothes
