WELL GUESS WHO'S BACK.....YES I AM AND I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT UPDATING IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. I ALMOST FORGOT WATTPAD ALWAYS DISSOLVING IN SCHOOL WORK AND GUY ISSUES! LOL! I WAS SO BUSY BELIEVE ME. BUT YESTERDAY I OPENED WATTPAD TO READ AN ADRIENETTE STORY WHEN I BUMPED INTO MY STORY. I FORGOT WHAT I WRITTEN SO I READ IT AND NOW HERE IS FOR YOU, A NEW CHAPTER AND THE START OF ADRIENETTE.

No One's POV

Marinette shuffled into the living room, her eyes red and puffy from crying. Seeing her daughter so distraught, Sabine rushed over. "What happened, sweetie?" she asked, putting a comforting arm around Marinette's shoulders.

Marinette could barely get the words out between sobs. "Mom, I am so stupid! I never should have trusted Luka. He completely ruined my life." She went on to describe the heart-wrenching scene she had witnessed at the ice cream shop. She and Adrien had gone to get treats for themselves and their significant others, Luka and Kagami. But when they arrived, Marinette was horrified to see Luka passionately kissing Kagami right in front of them!

Sabine pulled Marinette in close, stroking her hair as her daughter cried into her shoulder. She was so sorry Marinette had to go through this betrayal after a two-year relationship with Luka. "It will be hard, but try to move forward," she encouraged, though she knew it would take time to mend Marinette's broken heart. For now, the best thing was for Marinette to rest.

Marinette trudged up to her balcony, the setting sun casting a melancholy orange glow over Paris. Leaning on the railing, she started sobbing again. "How could I have been so stupid?" she berated herself. Suddenly, her phone buzzed with an unknown number. Wiping her eyes, she answered to hear Adrien's kind voice on the other end. He had gotten her number from Nino and called to check on her, able to detect the pain in her voice.

Though Adrien was surely hurting too from Kagami's betrayal, he pushed aside his own feelings to comfort Marinette. He apologized profusely for what happened but begged her not to cry. "Stay strong, Marinette," he pleaded. His words gave her the tiniest shred of hope amidst the anguish.

The two found solace in each other, bonding over their shared feelings of deception and heartbreak. Adrien made Marinette smile for the first time that night by trash-talking Kagami and insisting Marinette forget about that "jerkface" Luka. Though she missed Luka terribly, Adrien's encouragement lifted her spirits. He promised always to be there so she'd never feel alone again.

Marinette blushed deeply, grateful for his support but admitting she now had major trust issues. Still, something in her gut told her Adrien could be trusted. She decided to make an exception for him, hoping she wouldn't regret placing her fragile heart in his hands. Adrien swore he cared deeply about people, especially her. Their tender conversation continued late into the night...

After ending the call with Adrien, Marinette crawled under her covers, emotionally and physically spent. She was too drained to dwell on the day's trauma and heartbreak any longer. Within minutes, she drifted off into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Adrien, however, lay awake staring up at the dark ceiling for some time after. His mind kept returning to Marinette - her voice, her spirit, her strength despite the pain she was feeling. Without even realizing it, a smile crept across Adrien's face as he thought about little things he admired about her - the way her nose crinkled when she laughed, how her bluebell eyes sparkled when talking about fashion design, her passion and drive to succeed.

Despite their shared heartbreak, Adrien's heart fluttered with a warm, hopeful feeling whenever he pictured Marinette's smile in his mind. As he finally fell asleep, he sunk into pleasant dreams - sitting in a sunny park with Marinette, getting lost in her shimmering eyes as they laughed together without a care in the world. Adrien slept more soundly than he had in ages, with the comforting image of Marinette lighting up his slumber.

The next morning, sun rays filtered into Adrien's room, rousing him from sleep. As he blinked awake, remnants of the lovely dream with Marinette still lingered. Adrien sighed happily, filled with an inexplicable but undeniable sense of anticipation to see her smiling face in class today.
