LET'S CONTINUE WITH THE EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO NEW YORK & HAWAII SUBSEQUENTLY. ENJOY!

Adrien's POV

"Mom, Dad, I'm home!" Adrien called out as he entered the mansion, unable to keep a huge grin from spreading across his face. His thoughts were filled with Marinette - her smile, her laugh, the way she made his heart race.

"Hello dear, you seem happy today," his mother Emilie said warmly as he entered the dining room.

"Yeah, it was an awesome day," Adrien replied dreamily, picturing Marinette's beautiful bluebell eyes again.

Emilie chuckled, waving her hand in front of his face. "Earth to Adrien! Where did you go just now?"

Adrien blinked, snapping out of his daydream. "Oh, sorry Mom!" he said, cheeks flushing in embarrassment at getting caught zoning out.

Emilie eyed him knowingly. "Looks like someone has a little crush they can't stop thinking about!"

Adrien's blush deepened. "What? No, I don't have a crush!" he insisted unconvincingly before hurrying off to his room.

In the bedroom, he flopped down on his bed, heart still racing. As much as he tried to deny it, his feelings for Marinette were definitely growing beyond just friendship. The very thought of her made him weak in the knees.

Just then, his father Gabriel entered. "Your mother said you rushed in here quite flustered. Is everything alright, son?" he asked in his usual formal tone.

Adrien sat up quickly. "Yeah, everything's fine Dad!" The last thing he wanted was his stern father interrogating him about his newfound feelings for Marinette.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "Very well. But remember, you must keep your focus on your studies and extracurriculars. No distractions from some frivolous crush."

Adrien sighed. "Of course, Father." But even as Gabriel left the room, Adrien's giddy thoughts returned to the girl who had utterly captured his heart without even trying - his sweet, wonderful princess Marinette.

Marinette's POV

Marinette bounced up to her room, giddy with excitement. "I can't believe I'm going to New York and Hawaii with all my friends!" she exclaimed. "This trip is going to be amazing."

Then it hit her - she was going to be sharing a room with Adrien for two whole months! Marinette's heart skipped a beat just thinking about the boy who made her weak in the knees. She couldn't wait to spend so much time bonding with her crush.

Grabbing her phone, she saw Adrien had texted her. They bantered playfully about being roommates, though Marinette got flustered and had to clarify she didn't mean anything weird by it. She assured him it would just be fun to hang out with a close friend.

But then Adrien took a more serious tone, promising he would always protect her and be by her side. Marinette's heart swelled reading his caring words. She promised she trusted him completely and would have his back too.

Their tender conversation left Marinette feeling like she was floating on a cloud. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she headed for a shower before dinner.

Downstairs, Marinette told her parents about the upcoming overseas trip with her class. Her dad Tom was shocked realizing she'd be sharing a room with Adrien for so long. But her mom Sabine reassured him Marinette was mature enough now to manage herself.

Marinette blushed hard at the implication but agreed she was old enough to enjoy time with friends. She was touched by her parents' trust in her. With their support, she felt ready to embark on this adventure and make unforgettable memories with Adrien and all her classmates.

Adrien's POV

Adrien entered the dining room for dinner still preoccupied with thoughts of Marinette. His father Gabriel immediately asked what had taken him so long. Adrien explained that he had been texting Marinette about their upcoming trip.

His mother Emilie joined them and asked about the trip. Adrien excitedly told them about the two month overseas trip with his classmates and how he would be rooming with Marinette.

His father Gabriel wasn't thrilled about Adrien rooming with a girl. But Adrien reassured him that Marinette was his trusted best friend and talented fashion designer. Gabriel finally relented and said Adrien could go on the trip.

Emilie then asked when Adrien was leaving. He said their flight was that weekend and he had 5 days to pack. Gabriel said Nathalie would arrange everything.

As Gabriel left, Emilie asked Adrien pointedly if Marinette was "the one". Though Adrien initially denied it, Emilie saw through him. He finally admitted that he liked Marinette more than a friend and was nervous about ruining their friendship.

Emilie comforted him and said he had to tell Marinette how he felt at some point. Though he may be rejected, he had a right to ask. She assured him Marinette would likely say yes and encouraged him to believe in himself.

Adrien was surprised and touched by his parents' support. He gave Emilie a tight hug and said he never thought they'd be so understanding. Emilie said she would always be there for him no matter what. They said goodnight and Adrien went to bed with new resolve to confess his feelings to Marinette during their trip.
