"Let's have a good game," both Daichi and Takeru said, shaking hands.

'Damn it's noisy as hell,' (Y/N) thought to herself, rubbing her ears as she glanced at the game happening next to them. 'Let's hope my ears don't ring after this.'

The whistle blew and both teams lined up before bowing, shouting, "Let's have a good game!"

Wakutaniminami was serving first and the match started.

"Daichi!" "Got it!"

Bumping the ball up, Kageyama set the ball up to Hinata for a normal quick attack. However, #11 from the other team was already ready to block him, but the boy was able to get it past the block and they weren't able to receive it.

"Nice kill, Hinata!" Yamaguchi shouted.

"Yesssss!" Suga cheered.

"Okay! We're gonna take it right back in the next one!" Nakashima declared, his teammates immediately picking up the mood.

"Right!" "Yeah!"

"Huh." (Y/N) leaned her jaw on her palm. "Wakunan's players were quick to not get discouraged, nor were they even a little bit surprised by that."

'...No one calls the current Karasuno flightless crows anymore. We're super lucky to face off against the most outrageous team in the prefecture!'

Ukai brought his hand to his lips. 'Looks like they decided how to move against Hinata beforehand... They're not confused or disorganized at all...'

"When you... called this a bad matchup," Takeda spoke up, "You meant that they're the sort of team... we'd have trouble with, right?"

"...Yeah. Based on the way things have gone so far, Karasuno has a harder time with opponents who keep calm and go at their own pace while watching for chinks in our armor and dealing with them appropriately, than with opponents who just keeping attacking with everything they've got," Ukai explained.

"Seijoh and Nekoma are perfect examples of that," (Y/N) added. 'Tooru-senpai and Kenma-senpai in particular.'

"That championship school is clearly on guard against you, Hinata," Daichi suddenly said with a cunning look on his face. "They must be studying you carefully."

Hinita's face went blank as Daichi's words seemed to repeat in his head before a fire ignited in his eyes. 'A championship school is... studying me.'

"Nice serve." Daichi gave a closed eye smile. "Welp, guess the rest of us are getting upstaged." Tanaka's ear twitched as he overheard his captain's words.

"However, I'm even better now than I was yesterday," Hinata stated, spinning around so it looked like there were three of him.

Tanaka made a face, glaring. "Heeey, I'll peck your eyes out if all you do is watch Hinata, punks~" His words made the Wakun captain flinch, confused and scared.

'That's the captain for you. He knows exactly which buttons to push to motivate the players.' Ukai, Takeda, and (Y/N) all deadpanned, the girl shivering.

'Scary~ He's really manipulative when he wants to be.'

"Give them a good one, Kageyama."

When the whistle blew, Kageyama quickly threw the ball into the air and jumped, his palm slamming against it. 'That has a good feel to it!'
