Chapter 2 - Practice Match

Today is Saturday and also the day Tobio is having his practice match against Seijoh. As I promised, I decided to show up. Not only will it be fun, it will be perfect for me to observe volleyball plays and moves that I can use for the event. Opening my closet I grab a baggy black t-shirt and light blue jean shorts. I put a big red hoodie over my shirt. Looking in the mirror of how big the hoodie is I giggle a little. Truth is I borrowed this hoodie from Sei when the GOM and I were hanging out at his place to study for exams. I was going to give it back to him, but he let me have it, and I must say it is very comfortable and warm. I decided to leave my blond hair loose which covered the piercing on my right ear and without glancing at the mirror I go grab my phone, wallet, and keys. I stuff my wallet and keys in the hoodie pocket and put my phone in my jean short pocket. Putting on black sneakers I leave my apartment.

I live alone in a decent sized apartment. It has a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, two full bathrooms, and two bedrooms. It's perfect for me and good enough for when someone decides to visit or stay over. Walking to my motorcycle I put on the black helmet and started it up. Driving off I headed towards Seijoh, I would usually walk, but I was behind schedule due to my alarm not going off, I didn't want to be late. By the time I arrived the bus filled with the Karasuno boy's volleyball team seemed to be parked. One by one the boys came out and I carefully parked in the spot next to the bus. Once parked I got off my motorcycle and removed my helmet, placing it on the bike. Getting off I walked towards the group of boys grabbing their stuff.

"Tobio!" I shouted, gaining the team's attention.

"Ah, (Y/N)," he replied and I smiled.

"Told ya I would come," I teased and patted his arm. "So this is your team? Nice to meet you all, I'm Kise (Y/N). Just call me (Y/N), I hate formalities."

"Ah, I'm the captain of the team, Sawamura Daichi, nice to meet you (Y/N)," Daichi said and held out his hand for a handshake.

Shaking his hand I smiled. "Nice to meet you Daichi-senpai. Who the rest of you guys?"

"I'm Sugawara Koshi," a grey haired male said.

"I-I'm Tanaka Ryunosuke! A pleasure to meet you goddess!" the one with shaved hair said and gave a bow. I sweatdropped at his action.

"I'm Ennoshita Chikara and those two are Narita Kazuhito and Kinoshita Hisashi," the black haired male said and the two males beside him gave a small bow.

"I'm Hinata Shoyo! The future ace!" the small haired ginger said and I smiled.

"A future ace? Hmm then I hope you can get that title in the future, afterall the ace opens the path for the team." I said and the ginger flinched.

"O-Osu!" he shouted and I held back a laugh.

"U-Uhm... I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi," the cute freckled boy said.

I then looked at the tall blond with glasses and he looked at me. After a moment of silence he said, "Tsukishima Kei."

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you all, I'll be watching from above so goodluck," I said with a gentle smile. I then patted Tobio's back. "Have fun out there Tobio."

Walking away from the team who started to pester Tobio with questions I headed towards the gym. Seeing other spectators on the stands I walk towards the empty side where the guest team spectators are supposed to watch from. Leaning on the metal railing I watched as the Seijoh team warmed up, spiking the volleyballs. The Karasuno team soon came in and began stretching. After a while a whistle was blown and both teams went to their benches. The starting line ups then went to their positions and the game started.
