We watched Robbie vanish in our sight. Pinigilan ko ang sarili na ngumisi. I overhead her conversation with the guy. Tsk, tsk. But, may magbabago ba? Alam ko naman ang lahat.
She's the victim? Oh, please. Robbie you are far from being a victim. You're a merciless whore, and I won't go easy on you.
I took a glance at Gerthy, "Let's go?"
Nasa harapan ko siya. Ilang segundo niya ako tinignan bago lumipat ang mga mata niya sa likuran ko.
"I think someone wants to talk to you." She said, bumalik ang tingin niya sa 'kin at nginitian ako. "Mauna na ako. See you at the classroom." She said then flew away.
I frowned. "Pretentious brat." Nasambit ko.
"Are you pertaining to yourself?"
Gulat akong napatingin sa aking likod. Why is he here? Oh, I'm in the college building nga pala. Matapang kong sinalubong ang tingin niya.
"Anong ginawa mo?" Malalim na ang boses niyang tanong, o pinalalim niya dahil hindi naman talaga ganiyan ang boses niya.
I crossed my arms under my chest, "Why are you asking? Really? After you turn your back at me, kakausapin mo ako?"
"You want to cut our ties that badly?"
Tinuon ko ang tingin sa railing ng hagdan. "Yes, I don't want anyone to hinder my plans."
"You're destroying people's lives."
Kumuyom ang aking palad. "They destroyed mine first. And how can you be so sure that I'm crushing down their dear lives? I'm still in the middle of working things out."
"Gusto mong hayaan kita?" His footsteps made a noise, ngayon ay mas malapit na siya. "Lain?"
Humarap ako sa kanya't tinulak siya sa dibdib. Tumalikod ako. He's my best friend, he should support me on this, right?
"Bumalik ka na sa kinalalagyan mo."
Matabang akong natawa, "Saan? Sa kabaong? You want to get rid of your best friend that badly?" Ginaya ko ang tono ng panalita niya. "I'd never thought we would fight like this."
When I say he's my best friend, he means the world to me. He's my comfort zone. My home to rest. When everything got messy, he's just there to cheer me up. Though without noticing the struggles that I've been through.
It's wonderful, right? The feeling of comfort to someone who you only love platonically. It's just, very wholesome. But look at us now.
Chan is the only one I consider as my best friend. I had another one before, but he betrayed and hurt me so I threw away our friendship already.
"Male-late ka na." 'Yun lang ang sinabi niya bago sumunod ang ingay ng mga yabag niya.
