"♬♪ I walked through the door with you, the air was cold..♬♪"

"Can you I check this?" Tanong ko sa saleslady.

"Yes, Ma'am."

The saleslady brings out the golden plain promise ring. She gently placed the box on my hand. Kinuha ko ang singsing at sinubukang isuot sa gitnang daliri. It fits perfectly on me.

I smiled, "I will have this, but do you have smaller one? Konti lang ang agwat."

She nodded, "Meron po, Ma'am. Please proceed to the counter, I will give it to you there, Ma'am."

"Sure," Hinubad ko ang singsing at ibinalik sa box nito.

I'm at a mall, inside the jewelry shop to be specific. I am all alone and I'm enjoying my peace right now. Dagdag pa ang magandang kanta na pinapatugtog sa buong mall.

"♬♪And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more..♬♪"

I'm not in love, okay? Hindi rin ako sawi. God. I have lots of things to prioritize. The least I can do to myself is to get into a serious relationship.

Binayaran ko ang binili at umalis doon. I was about to enter to a branded clothing shop when someone called my name.

"Ely! God, you're here rin pala?" Jazlyne greeted with a wide smile, "Sana chinat mo kami. We missed you, you know?"

Thyra flipped her blonde curly hair, "We came from parlor earlier, bagay ba sa 'kin?"

"It suits you, Thy. But, do you forgot that it isn't allowed for us yet?" Pigil ngiwi kong sabi.

Pinaikot ni Thyra ang mga mata niy, "May magagawa ba sila? It's already dyed."

"True. Why don't you dye your hair too, Ely? I think ginger is for you." Jazlyne commented.

I haven't hanged out with them after the last time we did night swimming in my place. They tried to contact me through messages and chat but I ignored them.

I never wanted to be with them anyways. They are all fake. They talk all caring and friendly, but when I turn my back, they'll start talking shit about me.

Uso naman 'yon ngayon, 'di ba? Siraan ng kaibigan. Bait-baitan sa umpisa, magpapakitang masaya sila kasama ka, pero kapag nakatalikod ka na ay kung ano-ano nang sasabihin na kahit ikaw hindi mo alam kung saang lupalop nanggaling ang mga kwentong kumakalat tungkol sa 'yo.

I remember what happened last year. A rumor saying that I am pregnant spreads through Mommy and Daddy's business world.
