LukeI got a call from Courtney. "Can I bunk with you Luke? Not forever of course but until I can find somewhere better," she asks.
"Of course! I mean yeah, you can," I reply.
I am about to confess when she hangs up the phone.
"Scorpios and Cancers," I shout, not caring if mom hears me shouting, even though we have a strict no yelling rule.
Courtney could be very difficult. But I wasn't going to give up on telling her everything, not now.
Two Hours Later...
Courtney is here, she's been driven by my mom from Houston to Waco. I hug her immediately. I decide to confess. I look around, and my mom is not anywhere near, so I take a deep breath and say what I have to say, "Courtney I have had a crush on you for nearly a year now I love you Courtney Isla McAllister, I love you!"
She is frozen in place, a look of utter shock on her face like I just proposed, then she smiles a smile I have never seen her use before.
With a pang I realized that this is how Alva must have seen it go in her head.
"That is not all I have to say," I say to Courtney.
"What?" she asks.
"The reason Alva hates us is because she told me she loved me but I said I was in love with you, she got mad after I said that."
I hang my head feeling ashamed of myself. Courtney's smile turns into a frown. She backs away from me slowly at first then turns around and runs even faster than Alva did when I told her I did not love her back.
A/N: UGGHH SHORT CHAPTERS. Anyway this is funny because I put Luke's name in bold and at one point I typed Puke- that's what Alva must be thinking rn NGL- Anyway, hope you enjoyed!!! LUKENEY ❤️💞💗😨
