Jamie

"Courtney McAllister," the teacher said.

All Courtney did was raise her hand.

It's been 2 years since the divorce, and Alva's death, but she's still holed up and quiet. She's Adora's sister now.  She's still dating Luke, and they're still cute together.

Adora's less quiet, but still very sad. She did love Alva, after all. But now teachers call on her and she's more outspoken. We're all so proud of her, especially me. I've even become her best friend!

Luke has changed a bit too. He's more responsible and somehow even more caring for Courtney. I didn't even know that was possible.

Me, I didn't change much. But I still missed Alva so horribly.

We never forgot Alva, none of us. We were together, forever. We may not have visibly been a group of five, but in our hearts we were. People could call us crazy for not moving on, but it's not their choice, it's ours.

We each got Alva's ashes. We've all kept them with us. Because we would never forget her. She would always be with us.

Because we'd always be together. No matter when, what, and why.

A/N: It feels strange that this book is really over! It felt strange writing the ending on the Google Doc, too. From September 2020 to March 2022,  this book was a thing. Azalea helped me with a lot of it, but it was I who wrote Alva's death and the ending. Yes you're allowed to scream at me. But Azalea had the idea and even made a song about killing off Alva sooo-

The Google Doc actually had ninety pages. That is the longest book we've ever written and it's the only book we finished together. I really hope you enjoyed me editing and bringing this story to you, through Wattpad of course! ❤️💗💞
