I'm just casually checking my phone when I get a text from Luke. It says,
I'm sorry. I hurt you a lot, and it's really, really hard to forgive people..especially me, and even Courtney says no horoscope can change that you probably can't forgive me. I want you to know that I tried.
So fast. I didn't even know he knew about me being that upset. I thumb back,
I don't fully forgive you, but I will start to.
His reply is a smiley and a short version of "Thank you".
We chat for a bit on the texts and I notice something is off about his texts. Like he isn't telling me something. The way people type is obvious to me for some odd reason.
I say, There's something you're not telling me, isn't there?
He says,

I decided to maybe email Alva after online school. And Courtney. Okay, fine. I wanted to know the action that might have been happening between Courtney and Luke. I email Courtney first.

I purposely said "relaly" because of the amount of shock I was in. Courtney, Luke's girlfriend. It fit. My mom was over my shoulder, which was why my text said "M.O.S."
She says, "Is that Courtney?"
I nod. She says, "Tell her I hope she's doing well."
I wasn't going to, but I replied tiredly, "Okay."
She goes back to her work and the conversation continues.

She's probably doing school. I got done with my work early. She probably didn't. I realize that everything may be back to normal. I don't know why Alva isn't answering, but Luke is. I literally have 4 unread texts from this dude.
Courtney hates me for telling her the truth about Alva's outburst.

He replies, and we start a conversation.

Yeesh, that was kinda harsh. I guess he deserved it. There really was something he wasn't telling me. Then I get an email from Jamie.
Dude, did you hear?! Courtney told me this but LUKE AND HER ARE DATING!!! 😱😳
WOAH. That's a lot to take in. I figure Luke asked her. She wouldn't tell me she liked Luke, she wouldn't tell him like that.
