"Sulfus, if you want we can skip-"
"No, do what you want, it's fine." Sulfus paced back and forth in the room, thinking about how he'd get to meet his specialist next. "You have to prank the fairies. That's our in."
Kabale looked between her brother and sister, trying to figure out what prank they could pull that wouldn't affect Elos at all. Anything they did would have to create at least a little chaos, but if even a hair on that girl's head falls.... She didn't even want to think about the destruction.
Cabiria took a deep breath, looking at the spider on her shoulder. "We already have the prank on lock, but we can change it if you want."
Sulfus had already planned on going to the dance, it would be the best way to see her in person again, but he didn't want her to get hurt by some silly witch prank. Not that he didn't have faith that she'd be able to avoid it, he just thinks she shouldn't have to deal with something so mundane.
"Cabiria, Kabale. I don't care about the prank, you could blow up the school and I'd ignore it. But if anything hurts, or even touches her..." He glared at the girls, a shadow filling the room as the walls quivered.
Cabiria lifted herself off the ground. "Don't worry, brother. We've got this, now calm down, we need to get ready."
Kabale nodded, levitating to her sister's side. "Right, we need dresses, and you need a uniform, brother."
Sulfus groaned inwardly, because he knew getting dressed would take the longest when those two were involved, but he let it happen because they had to kill time anyway.
Sneaking into Alfea was less difficult than expected, and no one batted an eye when they entered the dance hall.
"Ugh, it's bright in here, they should've added spider webs, it would've been much cuter." Cabiria complained as they walked in, sneaking through the crowd of fairies to get to a far wall.
Kabale snickered, "Don't be so mean, sister. This is a fairy party."
Cabiria huffed, folding her arms. "Why are fairies so dull?"
"So one can stand above the rest." Sulfus muttered, just as the crowd got quiet. He hoped his jaw hadn't dropped as the specialist walked in, her hair gleaming like a thousand jewels.
It was neatly swept to the side, and shimmered under the lights. Her eyes especially, crystalline and beautiful didn't even begin to describe her appearance, it took his breath away.
"Sulfus, you're drooling." Kabale nudged him.
Sulfus cleared his throat, wiping his mouth just in case she wasn't joking, and no, she really was serious, he was drooling.
"Sulfus, don't ruin this for yourself." Cabiria muttered before putting on a smile and running up to the specialist.
Sulfus watched as Elos expressed her surprise, and Cabiria brought her over.
"This is my brother, but you know that already, don't ya." She winked at her brother and let go of Elos's arm so they could talk.
Elos smiled, and Sulfus's heart nearly gave out. "Yeah, we've met. I wouldn't forget someone so pretty."
Sulfus's face turned a bright red, and he smirked at the girl. "I'm flattered, to be considered pretty in your eyes..." he took her hand, planting a soft kiss on the back of it. "...is the greatest honor, my princess."
He wanted to do more, a lot more. He wondered how she'd react if he kissed more than just her hand. On her shoulder, her cheek, her lips... The ends of her hair or her finger tips... Her thighs... How her voice would sound if he touched her in just the right way...
