AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello, Readers! As you can see, I've been busy for the past few months on my acads. I decided to focus on my school works and stop using wattpad for the mean time. As a Senior High Student, It's not easy to have many hobbies since I have to focus on my studies as well.

I just came back on wattpad to proceed my story until it finishes. I'm sorry if I couldn't upload any chapter. As my compensation to you readers, I have come up with an idea to publish 4 chapters within this month of July. Thank you for supporting my story!

Calyx

"Kendra, this isn't right." Tanging lumabas sa aking bibig.

Umirap ito sa akin at pinaikutan ako ng mata kasabay ang pagkrus ng mga braso neto.

"I know you like her, Cal. Why don't you just be honest with yourself?" Nangungumbinsing saad neto.

The fact that I'm gonna break Catherine's heart again, making me lose my sanity. Why do I keep hurting the person who's always there for me?

Pinasadahan ko ng kamay ang aking buhok at tumungga ng wine.

"I don't know. It's a mess. It is always a mess." Iyon ang katagang lumabas sa aking bibig.

"Tell her before she finds out herself." Suhestiyon ni Kendra sa akin.

I shrugged.

"I gotta go. Sumasaket ulo ko kakaisip niyan."

Narito kami ngayon ni Kendra sa club dahil inaya ko itong uminom. I am messed up.

"Think about it, Cal." Pahabol na saad ni Kendra sa akin.

Pagkatayo ko ay dumeretso ako sa men's cr. Deretso kong tinitigan ang aking mukha at napagpasyahang maghilamos.

Kitang kita ko ang aking repleksyon sa salamin at ang basang basa kong mukha. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa sink.

Noong lumabas ako ng cr ay may nakaharap akong dalawang pamilyar na babae.

It is Cath and Elle, her bestfriend.

I saw Catherine's brows arched same goes with Elle. I was stunned at first seeing Elle looking different today. She always wore men's wear but today, a girls silk dress.

"What are you doing here?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Cath sa akin.

Tumikhim ako. Nakita ko ang matalas na tingin ni Elle sa akin.

"Ahh, I just had fun with myself." I lied.

Tumango tumango ito.

"Why not join us? Elle just finished her business and we're here to get a toast." Malambing na saad ni Cath.

Napahawak ako sa aking sentindo nang maalala kong narito rin pala si Kendra sa bar na ito.

"H-ha?" I stuttered.

Mula rito, ay kitang kita ko ang rebulto ni Kendra na dahan dahang paalis.

Mabuti nalang at aalis na rin ito kung hindi ay magtatagpo sila ni Catherine. Tanging nasabi ko sa aking sarili.

"You look nervous, Mr. Collins." May halong pangungutyang wika ni Elle.

Mahina namang hinampas ni Cath ang braso ni Elle na dahilan upang matawa ito ng mahina.

"Calyx, do you mind joining us or what...?" Paulit na tanong sa akin ni Cath.

I gathered all my energy and fully decided to answer her question.

"No, thanks. Uuwi na kase ako dahil walang kasama si Mom sa bahay." Nakangiting maamong sambit ko.

I'm telling the truth naman. I need to go home because my mother is alone there and I appreciate Cath's invitation.
