The Risk

Chapter 2

We sit at this picnic table and obviously Myles comes to sit next to me. I can feel Nick's eyes on me, I feel this hot feeling inside of me. I look over at Nick and he stops looking at me and starts to look at the ground and smiles. Myles tries to come close to my face and I back away

"Myles umma go buy some cigs, want to come?" Alejandro asks
Myles looks at me and whispers in my ear "I'm sorry babe but the other babe calls" I give him a push and smile he winks and leans over to kiss me and I push him again and tell him "go, babe is waiting"

After Alejandro and Myles leave Nick comes to sit with me
"Do you want to walk?" Nick whispers in my ear
"Umm, yea sure" I say and give him a smile
We start to walk and we sit on this step. "So, this is like the first time we actually have a talked" I tell him

"Well yea, but you see I've been trying to talk to you, but I couldn't get to you" Nick tells me
"What do you mean?" I ask I'm panicking inside but I'm also trying to act chill.
"Well I always thought you liked good guys, and I mean like my name is all around school" Nick answers

Nick's name does go around a lot, especially with all the people that want to get him in trouble. He has been suspended for getting caught with pot and being rude

"No I actually don't care as long as you're real and not a fuck boy" I say and give him a playful smile
He kinda gets uncomfortable but gives me a smile.

"You know I was texting Alejandro and told him to do me a favor, and that favor was if he could take Myles for a while so I could spend a lil time with you" he says

"Oh really, I kinda suspected by the looks you and Alejandro gave each other" I smile

Nick stands up and reaches out and I grab his hand.
"Let's walk around if you want" he asked and I nod

We start walking and he starts telling me about his family and all the problems he has. He lives with his dad he has three brothers but he only lives by himself with his dad, because his  mom is very strict and his dad is more flexible. By what he tells me he says that his mom prefers his other brothers because they don't get in trouble a lot like Nick does.
I feel bad but then he stops talking like he was gone say something that he wasn't supposed to say.
"So Amber how is it to be a cops daughter?" Nick asks
"Well it's pretty boring, like I can't do nothing but school work."
He laughs and then thinks
*phone rings*
"Hey man what happened" Nick answers his phone
He walks a distance to where I can't hear his conversation. He takes probably 5 minutes then comes back
"That was Alejandro he was asking me if I could roll up the blunt"
He takes out the weed and the swisher
"That's a lot" I tell him and he just smiles "can you smoke?" He asks
I haven't smoked in a long time but yea my dad doesn't sting test me unless he thinks I'm being bad" I answer
I watch him roll the blunt and he is a pro, I mean duh he's a pot head.
"Can you teach me how to roll it so perfect like that?" I ask him and he gets real close and just looks at me and smiles. I'm melting in the inside "yea I'd love too" he whispers and in response I smile.
