"That'll be 107.80$, ma'am." the male behind the cash register spoke with an unpleased tone. A voice that lacked emotion, demonstrating he'd rather be anyplace but behind a cash register. It clearly showed the fellow did not want to be here.

Stella quickly glanced over at Angel and Alastor. Her face slowly began to turn pale as her wings dropped to the ground, gently laying against the surface of the tiled-flooring.
"I have no money on me... oh no," she muttered quietly as she patted her sides.

Angel's eyes widened in response as he too patted his sides with all four of his arms.
"Shit! We should-a used the self-checkout like the others and pay for only half of it!"

Near the back of the line, Alastor shook his head and gave the spider a disappointing glare as he adjusted his own bowtie, "And act like delinquents? No thank you," he replied in a stern tone.

Angel groaned loudly, passing through Stella and facing the demon who stood behind the register.
"Hey Pal," Angel ran his fingers across the surface of the desk slowly in an alluring manner as if cleaning off the dust from a countertop, " Say, if I, offer my services to you, let's say tomorrow at six, will ya let us get this all for free without payin' the dough?"

"Eh? Why would I want your services? You want to work here?" The guy responded uninterested, not fully grasping the notion Angel was aiming to express.

Angel's expression fell flat along with his shoulders, "What? No. By services I mean-"

"Allow me, " Alastor cleared his throat as he walked up towards the guy, slamming his fist onto the desk with a thundering sound that echoed. His dark red eyes began to stare coldly as they flew faintly, startling the demon out of his unenthusiastic shell.
" If you, my dear fellow, desire for your soul to be spared, you let us walk away with these assortments freely." He spoke in a threatening manner as his voice rung with a sense of malice.

The demon shook his head with fear, trembling vividly as he pointed towards the exit with his hand that was blurry to his shaking. Thinking they'd attempt to steal the cash register, since it was Hell and most demons would attempt to do so in such a vulnerable setting, he then lunged for the machine in hopes to spare it. But because he lifted the item awkwardly, such improper handling made a waterfall of golden coins and paper money spill onto the ground.

Angel grabbed some of the grocery bags with a grin, discarding the thought about even taking the money that fell.
"Come on, let's go." He called out as he began stepping away from the scene towards the exit.

The group began to head out of the store with a smug expression, feeling all pleased except for Stella.
The lady sighed, looking back at the demon who was desperately trying to pack all of the money back into the register. His hands where shuffling against the tiles as his eyes did around the store, peering out for anyone who might take the risk and help themselves to a little bit of cash.
"He seems to be so troubled. " Her gaze travelled back to Alastor as her words barely parted with her lips, "That was a bit harsh, don't you think?"

"He's just like that, El," Angel added briefly, shrugging the notion away without much thought.

"Well, that was harsh of you, Alastor." She persisted with a firmer tone while still maintaining that soft voice of hers. She ever so slightly lowered her brows as she awaited a response.

Alastor smiled widely to this as his eyes barely glanced back at the struggling demon, dismissing his presence whatsoever.
"We got the products for free, do we not? It is Hell, no one will care to help him anyways. Shame really-"
