Charlie gathered everyone near the front of the door, huddled in a group. Everyone was dressed in formal attire. Charlie and Vaggie wore similarly styled dresses to match, both having their hair styled to be wavy and appear light with volume. Niffty had a lovely pink dress that accompanied the colour of her cheeks. Husk, being the most underdressed from the crowd, wore a simple red tie along with a matching top hat.

"Now we wait for Stella," Charlie announced to everyone.

Husk grumbled, "Can't I stay home?"

Angel, who stood beside the cat, raised his brow. He gently placed his hand under his bust, pushing up his chest fluff.
"With me?" He smirked lightly.

"Ehm... no," Husk rolled his eyes as his gaze dropped to the ground, pulling his wings closer to his own body.

Angel frowned, turning his gaze to Alastor who impatiently fiddled with the cuffs of his own suit. Alastor wore a fine but classy black suit that fit his body quite well.
"You good, Smiles?"

Alastor quickly glanced at him, putting his hands behind himself in hopes to try and hide the fact he was anxious, "Of course I am," he ended with a brief note.

"Nervous?" Niffty came up to him, gently tugging the bottom of his shirt, "You look great!"

"I'm not worried about that, dear," Alastor admitted with a slight sigh.

"She'll be ready soon," Charlie assured with a light tone, receiving a subtle glimpse from The Radio Demon.

Vaggie and Husk nodded along without a response as Angel glanced up at the stairwell across the room.
"I'll go check," he proposed as he made his way towards the stairs.

...

"Ooh goodness-" Stella travelled around her room back and forth with a makeup brush in her hand. The gentle and cloud-like texture of the bristles against her cheek soothed her as she wandered.

She glanced at herself in the mirror, expressing no response to what she saw as she stared at herself, "... is this good enough? Is it too much? Or too little?"
She paused, looking at the mirror more and more, feeling as if she was immersed within the glass.
I dislike mirrors,

The thought lingered around along with a faint but uneasy sound of shattering glass- as if that memory reoccurred once more.
"Undeserving of love-" She quoted, barely parting her lips as the words echoed in her head.

"No..." she took a step back with worry as her hand clasped onto her arm, slowly reaching up to her head as if grabbing her scalp would prevent the thoughts from bleeding through.
"It's all an act." It lingered, "He doesn't really love you... it's a setup!"

Stella's gaze fell to the ground, along with her body. Her wings felt heavier, as if the weight of her past was held upon them. They gently wrapped around her body, protecting her from something that wasn't there as the thoughts... the memories, felt like they were reanimating once more.
"... maybe I should not go-"

"El?" A knock startled Stella, bringing her gaze up to the door.

Her mind clouded with words she wanted to say, but her lips couldn't move to make a sound. They were sealed.

"It's Angie," Angel called from the other end of the door after not receiving a response.
"I'm comin' in,"

He opened the door slowly, poking his head through. The Spider's expression fell, noticing only a grey feathery ball leaning against the wall, "... El?"
