Alastor opened his eyes, realizing he and everyone else around him had dozed off. The only sound he could hear apart from faint snoring was the repetitive jingle that played on the menu screen from the television.
Slightly annoyed, he cautiously stood up, brushing his suit with his hand to rid of any creases he disliked.

You disappoint me,

"Hmm, " Alastor commented to himself as he adjusted his bow tie, taking a quick glance into Angel's mirror to adjust his hair, "Well, I am not disappointed."

Pathetic... you lost your swing, Alastor.

"No, I still have my swing," He gently swung himself side to side as he took a step across Angel's extended legs, grasping the doorknob with his hand as he slowly turned it.

Don't make a fool of yourself, Alastor. You very well know what I mean.

"... I do," he admitted as he closed the door behind him, now standing amongst empty hallway walls that amplified each step he took, "... but I don't regret it."

You will... just watch and see.

"Alastor?" A faint voice called from behind him.

Startled slightly, The Radio Demon released a blurb of static before he turned around to see a familiar face stand before him. She gently swayed back and forth as she gained her balance, her eyes vaguely open from sleep as she gazed upon him.
"Oh, Stella. Did I wake you?"

She nodded her head, "Perhaps, but that is alright."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah yeah," she assured him, placing her hand on his shoulder for a moment, "But, we should head back to sleep. It's past four in the morning."

Alastor chuckled to himself as the two began to walk,  "That would be... wise." He began, giving his speech a charming demeanour, "but, we could do something more thrilling than dismissing ourselves for the night."

Stella raised her brow, "What do you suggest?"

"Come with me," he began, taking her hand as he led her down the stairs to the lobby. Without giving her the time to think or argue, he threw a jacket onto her shoulders, "Put this on. It's going to be chilly."

"Oh? Where are you taking me, hmm?" She couldn't help but smile as she put on a warm fuzzy hat over her head and wrapped a matching scarf around her neck.

Alastor snapped, making a dark brown coat appear over top of him. It was roughly to his knees. He then summoned a tall top hat-like hat onto his head, leaving room for his ears to show. With the heavy sigh of the door that let in the cold night breeze, he opened it for her, allowing Stella to walk out.

They both felt an instant chill pull away the remaining bits of warmth they owned as they ventured forward, continuing to walk in the snow that at this point grazed ever so slightly above their feet. The sky was a dark purple colour, which to some even appeared as a dark brown, due to the lower temperatures that began to grow dominant, especially at this hour.

"It is chilly," Stella lifted her wings towards her body, huddling into them as if they were a large blanket or quilt.

"I did say-" he chuckled briefly as he gazed down at her. She nodded shyly, looking down at the ground in response, simply happy to spend time with him, especially since the two ventured into the night like this. It felt rebellious. Despite her feeling slightly nervous and afraid of walking the Streets of Pentagram City during the night, with him by her side, it made things a lot let's intimidating as ironic as it seems.

He smiled faintly as the two entered the more populated part of the city. There was barely anyone outside, which gave them both a sense of privacy while they wandered calmly underneath the slowly falling snow and the dark purple foggy sky.

Suddenly, Stella felt something take her hand gently. She momentarily looked down, only to see a hand with a soft black glove bring her wrist comfortably to his side.

"It looks heavy," Alastor commented in a smooth yet gentle tone as their met eyes again, "Allow me to hold it for you."

Stella felt her cheeks turn red as she looked to the side to hide a goofy smile that crept onto her face. The coldness of the air numbing her nose beforehand made her complexion identical to how one would look if they were chilled, but Alastor could tell she was flustered.
"Silly Deer," she declared lightheartedly.

They both laughed with a bright sense of joy as it led them towards a small quaint building of which the exterior was only lit by a bright orange neon sign that simply read "Diner" in bold.

Alastor made a simple gesture with his head, indicating they enter inside, and so they did.
There wasn't much of a bustle occurring at this hour, in fact, the restaurant was coming to a close, but that did not bother Alastor.
He gently helped Stella take off her coat, resting it upon his arm as the two entered this quaint lobby with red leather couches and faint orange lamps that barely lit the room.

"We are closing," a rather unpleased voice murmured from behind one of the tables.

"-Table for two," Alastor insisted as he took a step forward towards the table himself.

The individual looked up at him slowly, their facial expression fading from neutral, to concerned, to scared, "Y-ye-yeah- okay. Right over there!"
They pointed to a booth that stood in the far corner of the restaurant. Its matching red leather couch circulated around a dark brown wooden table.

"After you, " Alastor gestures towards the booth, allowing Stella to take a seat first. The two sat across from each other as they began to feel the warmth of the diner gathered around them.

Stella suddenly began brushing her hair with her hands, pouting slightly as she did so. Her wings lowered to her side with each word she spoke, "Oh, if I knew we'd be going someplace fancy, I would have dressed for the occasion."

"I think you look splendid, Stella," Alastor replied with a faint smile, which caused her to glance over in his direction.

She gave him a gentle grin, " You think so?"

He nodded, "Of course!"

Stella's smile widened, her wings rising again and gently clasping beside one another as she adjusted the collar on her shirt and sat in a more proper manner.

"So..." he began as he rested his arm on the tabletop, "What did you all do in my absence?"
