Surprise! (\^0^/)

I was left dazed after Raven left. No woman ever resisted me, except now because of Raven. I know I'm being stupid because I've known her for about 2 or 3 days, but she's really interesting and different from the usual women that throw themselves at me.

I walk back to the bar to get another scotch until I remember my clothes are still soaked, from when Raven accidentally spilled her coke on me. I chuckle to myself, then I remember what it was like having her in my arms, if only I could've tasted her lips, but she fled as if the plague were spreading.

I leave the club and go to my black Lamborghini, and drive to my penthouse close to my office. Still thinking about Raven.

I wake up, and I'm surprised I didn't have a pounding headache. Then I remember I only had one scotch before I started dancing with Raven. Thinking about her made me start thinking if I should go to the gym today, although she worked me really hard yesterday and I have a lot of paperwork to do, I still want to see her.

Then I realize I'm becoming a bit possessive and just got ready and went to work instead.

When I arrive I nod at the receptionist and head towards the elevator, pleased when it opens when I press the button. I get in and press the button for the top floor.

I'm so engrossed in my work I didn't notice someone was knocking until it became an annoying pounding.

"Come in." I say irritably.

To my surprise it's Ravens friend from last night that comes into my office.

"How can I help you?" I grunt, not really wanting to see him.

He just smirks and sits down on one of the two chairs in front of my desk. "I just came because I own Colemans' Corp. And I need a business partner, also I made an appointment to meet you at this day this time, a week ago."

I stare at him. This guy can't be the owner of Colmans' Corp. They're one of the most richest companies, after mine, in the world and he's here asking for business partnership with my company.

"Why would you do that? I mean, why do you need a business partner? Aren't you doing good enough?" I ask, curious to hear his answer.

Suddenly he gets serious, and I have to admit, I'm surprised by his quick mood change. "I'm doing this because I know both our companies together would be best, and my father always wanted to be a partner with Gonzalez Inc. I'm doing this for my old man and for Raven."

"Raven?" I ask, confused to what she has to do with this.

"Is it true that you own a couple of gyms?" He asks ignoring my question.

"Well, yes, but-" I start but he cuts me off, my lips thin because I'm getting irritated.

"Ravens gym just started, but obviously it's not doing well. She has regulars, but that's about it. I don't own gyms and if there were someone who did own gyms I would like to make a partnership with them to save my friends gym. Even if it does mean going into partnership with you." I'm surprised he has it all planned out, next thing I know he has a contract on him. Hah.

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper. Well, the jokes on me, because he does have a contract. I scan over it, and it says the same thing he told me.

"Why are you doing this?" I ask.

"For Raven. You don't know much about her but I've known her for most of my life." He replies, and I feel a surge of jealousy. Whoa where did that come from?

I clear my throat and said, "Ok, welcome to the new partnership." Then, I sign the contract, and shake Luis's hand.

"Good bye, and do me a favor treat Raven will. She's worked really hard for her gym and she's really proud of it." I nod in understanding, then he leaves.

I sigh and return to my mountain load of paperwork. Only difference, I can't concentrate because she's in my mind now.
