I wake up to the sun on my face. I stretch slightly, and open my eyes, moaning as my muscles pop from not moving around for a while. I look around and notice that the part where Alex was last sleeping, is empty.
I frown, and slowly sit up. My head starts spinning but I keep moving, I make it to the end of the bed and stand up, to fall back on the bed again.
"Raven?" I hear, before the door to the bedroom I'm in, opens.
"Yeah?" I croak.
"Good your awake." He walks over to me and puts his hand on my forehead and neck, the he starts pulling me up while saying, "Good, your temperature is slowly getting back to normal. Come on let's get you to the bathroom to freshen up."
It takes probably longer than necessary to get to the bathroom, but we finally make it just in time because my bladder is about to explode.
"Ok, I can go from here. Out you go." I say in a rush.
"You can take a shower, I'll leave some clothes on the counter for you." Alex says, before leaving and closing the door behind him.
I use the bathroom, then take a shower. Relaxing immediately when the nice hot spray meets my skin. I stay standing like that, relishing at the nice warm water, hitting me softly and relaxing my muscles.
I finally start washing my hair and my body, I turn off the shower, frowning because I don't want to get out, but knowing I have to. I grab the nice, fluffy, baby blue towel, that was on the counter.
Just like Alex said there were some clothes on the counter, along with a toothbrush. I quickly change and brush my teeth. I run my fingers through my extreme curls, trying to tame them, flinching at every knot my fingers run into. I finally give up and just put it up into a ponytail.
I get out of the bathroom and walk down the long hallway that goes into, what I'm guessing is, the living room.
I see a huge window and immediately walk over to it, ignoring the black leather sofas, calling me to sit on them. I look down at the city, and I never thought it would look as beautiful as it did right then and there.
Flexing my fingers, I'm wishing I still did art, because this would be the perfect landscape painting.
"Oh there you are." I hear a relieved voice.
"What? Did you think a kidnapper came to get me?" I gasp, making my eyes go wide.
Alex chuckles at my sarcastic comment, "Haha, very funny."
I smirk at him, and turn back to the beautiful landscape again.
"It's a beautiful view." I mutter, not caring if he hears me or not.
"It sure is." Comes a reply to my right, a lot closer than it was a few minutes ago. "How are you feeling, Raven?"
"Fine." I sigh, and look at concerned blue eyes under my eyelashes.
"Do you want something to eat?" At the mention of food, my stomach growls.
Alex and I look down at my stomach, and start laughing. "I guess we better feed you, huh?" Alex chuckles.
"Hah guess so." I reply, and follow Alex to the kitchen.
First thing I see is a black, cobble stone island. I run my fingers over it and look at the rest of the kitchen stainless steel for the microwave, fridge, and stove. A chefs dream.
"What would you like?" Alex asks me, bringing me out of my transfixed state.
"Anything's fine, I'm not that picky." I reply, while pulling out a stool from under the island.
