Saying I'm panicked is probably in understatement right now. I'm confused as to why Raven had just passed out so I called my personal doctor to let him have a look at her. I took her to my suite at one of the hotels I own, because I think she wouldn't be happy if I went looking through her purse just for her keys.

Raven looks so peaceful sleeping, I had put her hair in a ponytail, so it wouldn't get all tangled. She has beautiful curly hair, her eyelashes look short from a distance, but are pretty long up close. Her lush lips are in an adorable little pout, a pout that I want to kiss and see what she'll do.

I was so busy watching her, I didn't notice that the sound I've been hearing in the distance has been the doorbell.

*DING DONG*

I practically run to the door to let Joey in.

"Ok, so explain to me what happened to her?" Joey says when he walks into my suite.

"Raven was telling me some very personal stuff about her life, then she started crying and she just passed out. More like knocked out, by God knows what." I mumble the last part under my breath, but Joey still heard it.

I lead Joey to where I have Raven in one of my guest rooms.

I hear a low whistle come from Joey, and I give him a glare. He just shrugs as if he did nothing wrong.

He goes to Raven and does all these weird stuff that doctors' tend to do, then he finally stops and turns to look at me.

"She's fine, she might have a fever. Also, do you know if she's been working to hard? Because her energy levels are pretty low. This girl needs a lot of rest, so she might not fully wake up for a few days."

"She runs a gym and does the paperwork and trains a couple of people there." Joey makes a hmmm sound, then talks again.

"You'll have to wake her up every 2 hours, take her to the bathroom and all that. And also, later today I'll have some pills sent over so you can give them to her until she wakes up."

"Ok, thanks Joey. Your a life saver, I thought something was really wrong."

"Technically I am a life saver. Anyway, I should get going. And if your taking care of her, don't hurt her in anyway. I can tell just by looking at her she's a good person." Joey stares at me until I mumble a little reply.

"I know, or else she wouldn't be here with me right now."

It's been 2 days now, and I've been doing everything Joey told me to do. I'm starting to panic and wonder if she's in a coma or something. I hope not.

I've been doing all my work from home, and I hired another person to help train at Raven's gym. Roberto apparently was Raven's person in charge when she wasn't there, so I let him do just that, be in charge.

I'm currently sitting next to the bed, where Raven is sleeping. Every once in a while she calls out a name, either one of her siblings or her mom. The only times she cries out for her step dad is when she's really deep in sleep, also known as when she's having a nightmare.

Those are the times I wake her up to take her to the bathroom, and give her another pill. She's always here when I do this, but at the same time she's far away. I guess if she opens her eyes, even if it's for a little bit, it means she isn't in a coma, so that's good.

Luis has been calling me through Raven's phone, asking for updates every hour. I give him updates every hour as well.

I've been up for these past 2 nights, but the tiredness is quickly catching up with me. So, in the middle of a thought, I finally allow myself to sleep, a couple hours would be fine. I fall asleep next to Raven in bed.

I slowly open my eyes to an unfamiliar room. I slowly sit up, my head pounding harder with each inch I move. I look around and confirm my theory of not being in my apartment, question is: where the fuck am I?

I look down and see the covers of the bed are a soft black silk, the walls in the room are white, and the drawers and bedside tables are all black as well.

I see a movement from the corner of my eye, while I'm looking around, and I snap my head in that direction, suddenly, deeply terrified.

I was about to scream, when I noticed his blonde hair was familiar. I take a closer look and see that Alex is sleeping next to me, that's when I notice that something heavy is around my waist, holding me. The heavy thing is Alex's arm.

I feel oddly comfortable, so I slowly sink back under the covers not wanting to wake up Alex, so I can see him while he sleeps. Yes, I know I'm weird.

His features all look so calm, his long golden eyelashes casting little shadows over his cheekbones, his lips are in a little pout, making me want to lean over and kiss them. His jaw is clenched tightly, and I wander if he's having a bad dream. I wander if I can wake him up, with something nice so he won't be tightly clenching his jaw that it'll look like it'll crack at any second.

As I'm trying to move his arm away, so I can return back to my apartment, his hold tightens and his eyes snap open.

"Raven? Are you finally awake?" Alex asks me groggily and with unfocused eyes. I notice the he has bags under his eyes, and I wonder if they've been there this whole time.

"Raven?" Alex says my name again. "Are you awake baby?"

"What did you mean when you said 'are you finally awake'? Have I been sleeping too long? Am I late for work?" I ask him, having to clear my throat a couple of times, as if I haven't used it in a while.

"Raven.. You've been sleeping for almost 4 days." I stare at him wide-eyed.

"Really? What happened?"

Alex looks at me sadly, then he says, "After you told me what happened 12 years ago, you cried and you passed out for 4 days. You've been working yourself too hard, that your energy finally left you when you told me what happened."

I could only stare at him, wandering if that's what really happened. "Are you sure?" I ask, obviously unsure.

"Yeah, the doctor said that after you wake up you need to stay in bed for 2 days, and also that you have to cut some work off your shoulders." Alex looks at me so seriously, that I have no choice but to believe him.

"Ok, but I have one question."

"Yeah?"

"Why are we in the same bed?"

"I fell asleep, the tiredness of watching over you finally caught up with me last night, I believe." He replies with hooded eyes, and I can tell he's still sleepy.

I slowly feel myself also being dragged back under the spell of sleep. "Oh, ok. Well let's get some sleep. Night Alex."

"Night Raven." Once again, I fall into the deep darkness of sleep. I fall into that deep darkness with beautiful, worry-filled, ice-blue eyes, and a gentle voice asking if I'm awake.

Sleep washes over me, but not before I feel Alex tug me closer to him, and a few other mumbled words into my hair, then we're both gone. Gone to the darkness, and sometimes dangers, of sleep.
