Ghost King and Batfam

Pt. 1

(I will just disclaimer here I haven't read the HoO books in a bit so if it's not super on point I'm sorry, just going off memory)

At Camp

While Nico was standing with the archers watching the fight go down he felt a presence enter his mind. Nothing was said almost like they were waiting for the right time to speak to him, it made him feel uncomfortable that someone was just waiting to speak, because he didn't know if they were waiting for something good or bad to happen before they spoke.

As Gaea was being defeated Hades finally decided to show Nico which god wanted to speak to him.

" Son, once Gaea has gone back to where she has slept for many millennia I want you to leave this camp and start a new, somewhere where you can live without the fear of the past, and no one to judge you by it, that is how you wish to live is it not?" Nico was so confused by this statement ' leave camp', just like that, right after Gaea is defeated, and right before he might finally be accepted in the camp?

"What why?!" Nico felt he just had to ask instead of blindly trusting his father. Although Nico has always wants to please his father he has learnt best not to blindly trust anything or anyone no matter who.

"Simple you will not enjoy camp if you stay any longer than when Gaea is gone, you know what happened with the last war, the camp went back to ignoring you. I simply want you to live a life without your past uh...mistakes coming back to haunt you son" Nico felt a pang of sadness enter his heart because all this time Nico knew the results for his part in this war would not be as widely known as last time. And staying would only hurt him more as Hades had said.

So Nico agreed although not fully knowing where his father wants him to go, he agreed "Alright father I'll leave now." He didn't really want to leave but he knew he would never be accepted by Camp Half Blood. I mean powers to control and raise the dead are taboo in many cultures why would the Greek and Roman camp suddenly accept his powers as though they were normal. Nico would never be fully accepted by the camps, maybe by Hazel, Jason and the prophesied half bloods, but he would never be too close to them. Nico knew deep down he could never be truly happy at any camp if he stayed, no matter who was present.

Nico shrank back towards the trees going unnoticed by the people standing near him, and shadow traveled without a destination in mind. His only thoughts were 'somewhere else far from camp'.

Just where would he land he didn't have a clue but he knew deep down that leaving is the best thing for him. Plus Nico would be lying to himself if didn't say he wasn't the tiniest bit excited to see what leaving camp without anger or saddens in his mind would lead him too. Friends? Family? Probably not but it's excellent to think about at the least. He was interested in where he will land and what will be in his future, I guess only the fates really know that answer.

I'm pretty sure if Nico knew where he would land and and what he would have to do to survive, I think he would've just preferred to be an outcast.

But just when Nico had melted into the shadows a particular blonde son of Apollo turned to tell Nico 'he would be spending 3 days in the infirmary to heal and that he wouldn't be taking no for an answer' but before he could voice this he saw no Nico and as he was looking around there was still no Nico.

"I guess it was just wishful thinking huh" the blonde son of Apollo though and headed to where injured campers were in urgent need of a couple healers.

Ok so thoughts? I guess. This is my first fanfic so just bare with. Also I will be updating this not on a schedule but it will be somewhat frequent, so u don't have to worry about waiting for a mouth for each part. Also if there are any errors with spelling or words that don't make sense plz tell me for any chapter cause I will fix immediately.
