"Welcome class!" A chirpy voice exclaimed as the pupils began to enter the French classroom. Steph watched and smiled as the last people entered and took their seats before taking her place at the front of the class, a bunch of faces looking back at her, all except one.

"Elle sweetheart, can you face the front please." Steph asked kindly, watching as Elle lifted her head slightly to look at the fake blonde headed woman staring back at her who is like an aunty to the twins when the girls lost their dad Steph cared for them whilst their mum was dealing with the death. Also being one of Elle's best mate's to Maxine who is cared by her guardian Steph Haydock.

Elle Parker watched as Miss Haydock continued with the lesson, handing out a worksheet for the class to do.

Just as Elle was about to start her work there was a knock on the door to make everybody to look at the door seeing Miss Campbell.

"Hi Kim can I help you?" Steph asks her friend.

"Hi can I speak to Elle she'll be back soon." Kim tells Steph.

"Sure. Elle miss Campbell would like to talk to you." Steph said to the girl with a smile.

Elle walks outside to see Miss Campbell. Making all her friends and sister wonder why.

Kim Campbell takes the quiet girl to her office ready to start her conversation. As they two got in Elle realised there was another person in the office. It was the head teacher , Miss Mason.

"So Mr Lawson spoke to me and Miss Mason about you being upset, and we wanted to talk to ask about if your okay if there's something going on" Miss Campbell said with a soft smile.

"When Elle shrugged that made
The two older women look at each other before Rachel spoke.

Elle we also know about the doctors appointment this morning?" Rachel kindly asks.

"Uh yeah I'm doing fine just tired a bit off your know I've been doing a lot of homework lately last few nights. The appointment was just a check up." Elle tried to persuade the two women.

"Okay well if you need to talk do come an see either of okay" Kim smiles to the girl whilst Rachel nod her head.

"Yeah sure" Elle said then walks back to the French class.

As Elle gets to her seat she rummages about in her bag for a pen, she felt a sharp pain pass across her forehead causing her to raise her hand, a large gasp escaping her mouth. Thankfully it don't happen in front of the head of pastoral care or headteacher.

"Elle, what's up?" Grace asked concerningly as she rested her own pen on the workbench and turned to look at Elle.

"Nothing, just don't worry about  it." Elle replied as she finally managed to find a pen, placing her bag back on the floor empty stool next to her.

"You look like you're in pain." Grace stated as she looked worryingly at her twin.

"I'm fine. Just a headache." Elle snapped but she knew her sister, she was going to pester her until she finds out the truth.

"No, you're not. What's going on? That's more than a headache. I know you're hiding something as I've seen you and Mum having your private secret chats apparently about a toothache." Grace explained, Elle rolling her eyes in frustration at her twin sister.

"It's none of your business Grace, just because we are twins doesn't mean we have to tell each other everything." Elle demanded causing Grace to move back slightly. She knew how hot headed they both could get and the last thing she wanted was an argument with Elle in the middle of a lesson but she could feel her own anger rising at her sister. Why couldn't she just tell her what was wrong?
